Declan kissed a girl and it was gross. All of our friends liked her; they thought she was pretty. And maybe she truly was. However, Kace and I had talked the afternoon of the 'big kiss' and we both found her average looking. Not that there was anything wrong with that, we just didn't understand what all the excitement was about.
Whenever our friends would talk about her, I agreed with them, scared they would think I was weird if I didn't.
Why did the boys act as if she was an angel sent from above?
I was afraid, even at the age of twelve, that I would never feel what other boys seemed to feel when it came to girls.
