Liz POV

With a loud groan I got up from my bed. It was way too early to go to school. I looked in my closet, hoping for something nice to wear to school. Too bad. After I got home from that terrible place, I had barely any time to shop. Those police appointments that seemed to last forever, the make-over from my room... I had a lot to do. My room looked better now though. I was kinda used to my bed and I had some normal teenage stuff. I'm not sure about that.. My mother told me that it was normal teenage stuff, I had no idea.

After my breakfast I made my way to school. Just walking down the streets, playing songs in my head, looking at my feet.... For some reason a smile appeared on my face and I knew that today was going to be a great day. I ran my hand through my hair and closed my eyes. The smell of the fresh air, the sound of the world, it made me feel alive! I took another deep breath and opened my eyes.

Then I got scared. I started screaming and tensed. The smile instantly disappeared and the smell of fresh air was replaced by hís smell. The sound of the world was now the sound of his voice, the sound of his footsteps! Just as I wanted to turn around and run back to my house, I felt a hand on my arm. Another scream came up in my throat. The blue sky wasn't heaven anymore, just a dangerous ocean, the road I walked suddenly wasn't nice and quiet, but silent like death! I needed to leave. Now. It was just that thát hand, on my arm, was stopping me. It was making me nervous. The only thing I could do was look at him. My eyes wide open, my body still tensed. A tear fell down my cheek and the only thing I could do was think: please! not again! Another tear rolled down my ckeek, soon followed by another. His black hair, curling, waving in the wind!

It didn't took long before my sight turned black. I knew that I was going to pass out in now and thirty seconds, hé knew that. He blurted out a 'wow!' and catched me as I fell.

I woke up on his lap. He was sitting on the road, bending over me - hopefully to see if I was okay.

'You okay, Liz?' I stared at him. 'Oh come on! You've been out for one minute or something, I did nothing! Don't be so scared!' He threw his hands in the air and did a step backwards. 'See? I won't harm you! You're free to go!'

That was the moment I knew that the emo guy standing in front of me had a familliar face. Alex. Oh god.... 'What did I do?! I probably freaked him out! Crap crap crap!'

He frowned. 'You know you said that outloud, right?'

I gasped as a response. 'Okay, so no. You didn't know that! And it's okay! But are you okay? You didn't scare me' He held his hand out for me and helped me get up. 'That much...' he said under his breath.

'I'm sorry! I was just-, you were just-... Okay I don't know I'm so sorry Alex!'

'Calm down! It's okay! But... Why the hell did you scream that hard?! You freaked me out!'

'So I did freak you out?' I did a step forwards, knowing that he wasn't scared anymore.

'Not that much... But we've got to go to school, I can't afford it to ditch.'

I smile played around my lips again. 'You're not going to tell anybody, are you?' He shook his head. I let out my breath. 'Then let's go!' I turned back to the road. My dizzyness was gone. So was my happy mood. I started to walk to school, with Alex walking next to me.

He pursed his lips together. Alex turned to me, a smile on his face. 'You know you're going the wrong way, right?'

I casually turned around and mumbled a 'nope'. Together we slowly approached school. He with a big smile on his face, me with a pokerface. I really messed up screaming at Alex.
