Liz' POV

'NICK!' I was standing outside his house, trying to open the huge gate. Too bad it didn't work. I screamed one more time before I gave up. I was getting tired of constantly screaming and knocking. I let out a deep breath and decided to turn around and walk home. Where could he be? I put my hands in my pockets and watched my feet while I made my way home.

'Mom? I'm home!' I closed the door with a bang and walked straight towards the living room.

'Hey honey! Did you find him?'

'No, he wasn't there...'

My mother passed me a cup of tea and together we sat down at the dining table. 'Don't worry, he will be fine! He's a strong young man and he will be fine on his own.'

I rolled my eyes. 'I know... It's just.. I haven't heard anything from him in such a long time. He didn't talk to Alex or me.'

'Then why don't you try Joyce? She's still at school with Timmy. Try if she knows where she is!' She shrugged and took another sip of her cup.

That was genius! 'Mom, you're amazing!' I got up and got my coat. I gave my mother a quick hug and made my way outside.  They could be free from school any moment now and that was my chance. I just had to speak to her today. Nick was probably fine, I just wanted to know for sure. Because what if he wasn't? I would feel guilty for life if he was sick or something.

Besides that I missed him. I wouldn't admit that to Alex any time soon, but it was true. The so called 'Alex-Love-Maker', or however he called it, it... I hated to admit this, but it worked. I used to really don't like Nick. I used to ignore him. First, I didn't like him. That changed. I, Liz, like Nick.

'Joyce! Joyce, wait up!' I ran down the street following the little girl with the blue coat.

'Oh, hey Liz! What's up?' She turned around and luckily for me, she waited.

'Do you know where Nick is? I haven't seen him since the funeral and the last time he talked to me was something like a week ago.'

Her mouth dropped open before she frowned. Her surprised expression freaked the hell out of me. 'Wait a minute... Didn't you get it?'

'Get what?' Now it was my time to frown.

'This is wrong, so wrong!' She pulled me along to god knows where while she sang something that sounded like 'wrongwrongwro-o-ong!'

'Joyce, tell me! Where are we going and what is so wrong?!' She was definetly faster than I was, so I had trouble keeping up with her.

While I was out of breath and she was still managing, she kept running and running until we reached the forest. There she stopped running and started walking on. 'We can't risk anyone hearing or seeing us since they still haven't caught your kidnapper and my mother can be pretty dangerous too..' To the last thing she laughed before her face turned serious. 'I don't know exactly what has happened.'

'Then why are we here?'

'Well, you wanted to know where Nick was...'

'Yes, so where is he?'

'I have no clue.. I think he's somewhere around,' she sighed. 'Look Liz, I promised Nick I wouldn't tell you, so I'm not going to. All you need to know is that you were supposed to recieve a package a few days ago. Find it, it's important. The package was important to Nick, it was important that you would get it. I don't know what it is, it could be an explanation to where he is or something else, I don't know. I'm not even supposed to tell you this, so if he asks, I haven't told you this, okay?'
