Chapter 3 - Moving on

Flarian's POV

So this is Gehenna......the realm my grandmother grew up in

We all walked through the gate way and it was a blazing vortex of fire

Ruby and I were wide-eyed in shock

"Woah...this place is amazing" I said to mom

"Yeah. When I was around your age Fian, I would forever come here to practice my satanic magic. Kept everyone safe and I got to see my favourite uncle in the process" Mom replied

"Isn't he your only uncle?" Ruby asked

"Nope. Midnight's dad is also my uncle. He's the younger brother of my dad although he wasn't always the nice and caring demon he is now. He was actually a pain in the ass to deal with especially for Midnight but that my sweet pups is a story for another time" Mom added then we reached the main palace and the guards drew their weapons on us

"STAND DOWN!" A voice shouted

I look ahead and the king of Gehenna was coming our way

"But sire those two wolves are angels" a guard stated

"True but they are the children of my own niece. So put your weapons away" Satan said to them

"Yes your majesty" and they did just that

Amybrine's POV

"I guess it'll take time for everyone to move on past what happened. Has anyone worked out why the war started?" I asked my uncle

"Fraid not sweetheart. No one in Gehenna has said anything and the real heaven isn't talking to us"

"Real Heaven?" Ruby asked

"Mhm. Sure your father is a heaven born angel from the kingdom of heaven in your world" Uncle Satan told them then I got an idea

"I know. Why don't we go visit Ruby and Arus over in heaven. Maybe they can shed some light" I told the kids and their eyes lit up

"Take care my sweet demon" Uncle Satan said to me then the kids and I left Gehenna and went back to our palace

"Ah there you are babe. You seem more cheerful today than previous days." Blaze said to me

"Yeah I got to finally return to Gehenna but now we were gonna head up to your kingdom if you wanna come along" I replied

"I was planning to visit mom and dad anyways so why not" then he and I unfurled our wings then Flarian and Ruby got onto our backs as if we were giving them piggy back rides in a sense then we flew to Blaze's old castle - yeah his new castle is mine since the wedding

"Mother? Father? You here?" Blaze called out when we landed and set our two pups down

"Blaze my boy. It's so wonderful to see you again. *sees the children and Amybrine* and a pleasure as always to see my three favourite hell spawns. How are you Amybrine?" Arus asked

"Doing better now that I can come and go from Gehenna again" I replied

"We were about to talk to the arch angel Michael and find out what happened to provoke the war. Care to join us as I'm assuming you want to know as well" Ruby added and I nodded sternly

"Mom may we come as well?" Flarian asked and Ruby gave looked at me as well

I looked to Blaze for help on this as well

"I've no issue with them coming hun" Blaze told me

"Fine but stay with your father and I" to which we got tackled with a hug from our two loving children.

After I stood up, all of us went into the throne room where the four arch angels were

"You bring hell spawn to this meeting King Arus? Such a disgrace to heaven kind you are" Michael said

"SILENCE! My wife and children are no ordinary hell spawn and you will respect them Michael." Blaze shouted which silenced the angel and his companions

"Now. We wanted this meeting to ask what caused the war. Amybrine was left heart broken from it as you all caused the death of her grandparents which then resulted in the poor girl not being able to visit her uncle whenever she wanted. So, did you lot cause the great war between the real heaven and Gehenna?" Ruby asked sternly

"You'll just have to ask the higher ups" Michael replied with a smirk then Blaze let me go as he was holding me back so I don't attack this angel

As soon as he let me go I stormed over

"What do you want little devil? If you attack me it'll provoke another war" I was pissed off and my satanic fire was burning bright

"I would hold your little devil back little pup. If you want her to live"

"Silence. Amybrine is the proud daughter of Aamon and Fierra Inferno so do not underestimate her. EVER. You may not like the hell spawn and believe me, the higher ups will know of this. How you threatened a powerful ally to heaven." Blaze replied then I slapped Michael across the face which shocked him

"I may be the hybrid daughter of hell but I have heavenly blood in my veins. From my uncle. You might know him: Satan Morningstar or should I say - Lucifer the Morningstar Angel. Who once was a resident of heaven before returning to Gehenna?" I asked with a smirk then the arch angels teleported away.

I let out a sigh of defeat/sorrow

It's been years now. Will he ever like me?

I then felt a hand on my shoulder and it was Arus who then turned me round to hold me close

"You know when you and Blaze first starting courting I'll admit I was nervous but I'm glad our son met you Amybrine. And that we have these two adorable grandchildren. You've brought our kingdom more joy than you could imagine. We've been here before to support you, and will keep being here to support you until the day we pass" Ruby explained to me

"Thank you. Both of you. Having a mother and father-in-law like you both is honestly amazing." I replied then Blaze and I returned to my castle with the pups.

I finally got the closure I was after and now..........

now I can move on with my life and see where the future takes me. One day at a time I will embrace anything life throws at me
