It's been a couple of hours since Sona told me about her migraines. I know she wanted to hide it but she can never hide it all from me. I love her too much.
"Aunty Sona! Aunty Flare!" I heard a voice shout to us and it was Lexi running to us.
I lifted the little wolf into my arms as she gave me a big hug. Sona was just smiling at the sight of her.
Technically I'm an only child but the entire clan is like family so to us the kids are nieces and nephews.
I saw Sona flinch in pain as Lexi called out glee to us
Sona......my sweet deer......
"Sona why don't you head home...you really need to get some rest....." I told her but she shook her head
"I'll be alright Flare...." Sona replied then I felt her forehead and she was burning up.
But then she unfurled her wings...I need to stop her.
FLAME CHAINS!
Then chains of black fire wrapped around Sona preventing her from flying. I set Lexi down then she ran to her boyfriend
"Why the chains?" Daybreak asked
"Sona you are not to fly until you are well again. I don't care how much you argue but you are to rest up and get your strength back. Your forehead is burning up Sona...c'mon I'm taking you home to rest up" She just gave up and hid her wings again.
"Aunty Sona is that why you looked unwell when you were back at Purgatory Palace?" Lucifer asked and she nodded

Sona's POV
"LADY SONA!" I heard someone shout as they were flying to me
"ROLO?! What are you doing in this world?" I asked when I realised it was one of my best wendigos in my clan
"I could sense your waning strength and came only to hear Flare say what was wrong with you. Why do you and Amy always have to pretend to be fine when you're sick?" Rolo asked as he stayed hovering in the sky with his blood wings
I had nothing to say then my world went black but not because I collapsed. Rolo brought me into our private shadow abyss
"You know I'm right" Rolo said then gave me a hug
"I know you feel like you need to put on a brave face when you're hurting given how you're the guardian of the spirit gateway here and also the alpha wendigo of our clan but there are other people you can ask for help from, like Flare and I. I always knew you were into girls so when I heard you and Flare were dating and eventually got married I was so proud of you. So promise me you'll take things easy and just get some well needed rest. You've more than earned this respite you need Sona." Rolo explained.
He and I are practically brother and sister since we grew up together. I am an only child but blood doesn't define anything for certain.
"Rolo when you brought me here did you make me collapse outside of here? Since only a consciousness can enter this dimension?" I asked
"Unfortunately yes. Since I came to you as a spirit unconscious anyways it didn't affect me but it will have caused you to lose consciousness outside here." Rolo told me then vanished
Flare's POV
After Rolo appeared he vanished then Sona collapsed. Thankfully Alex caught her in time
Rolo then reappeared
"What happened to you two?" I asked as I held my sleeping wife
"When she and I enter our shadow dimension only our consciousnesses enter so our physical bodies go unconscious. I did it intentionally to get her to sleep so she can rest and recover. She's like a little sister to me. Now I must be off to return to the wendigo clan. See you around everyone" then he waved and flew off.
Alex carried Sona back to our home then after I explained the situation to the shadow clan.
Everyone understood then went home but Amybrine stayed behind to talk to me.
"Something the matter AB?" I asked her
"Heaven is having issues internally. And not my husband's kingdom of Heaven either"
Shit. That's not good news
"What are we going to do though?" I said
"Blaze and I plan to make a trip there with my Uncle, his Mother, Daybreak and Scythe in two days time. Hell, Purgatory and Heaven going together to get this sorted out"
"I see...well I hope you're able to figure out what's going on...stuff like that is a million miles out of my ball park being a phoenix of the black flame" I told her then she gave me a hug before I went home to check on a sleeping Sona.
I forgot how peaceful she looks when she's asleep. Rest easy my beloved wendigo.
I kissed her forehead then went to the real world to check on Amy whilst hiding in the shadows
Amy really has grown into a beautiful maiden of hope now
I was smiling as I saw the princess I cherish so much smiling alongside her loved ones.
"Lady Flare? Tis been a while since we last saw each other" Sebastian said to which I glared at him
"Could you have said that any louder? *sigh* How can you see me though? I'm using my shadow cloaking magic meaning no one should be able to see me. Not even demons" I asked the raven demon
"I can see through any darkness my lady" ugh I forgot about that. I decided to come out of the shadows and pat Amy on the shoulders
"Huh? *looks to see where the hands came from* Flare?! What are you doing here?" she asked me
"Sona's getting some much needed rest at the moment and I had no paperwork to do so I thought I'd come check on the maiden of flames herself" I replied with a giggle to my voice at the end since I know she hates that nickname
"Flare you know I dislike that title" She said to which I laughed then gave her a hug before returning home.
I hope Amybrine and co are able to get some info on the situation in Heaven...otherwise it could spell out trouble for the mortals in the land of the living
