Chapter 6 - You two need rest

Ciel's POV

When I saw how beat up Amy and Fenrir were, I was shocked Amy especially able to stand.

Sebastian and Aunt Angeline took them to their room after bandaging their injuries as both were unconscious and to no surprise. They need to rest up.

"How are they?" I asked Sebastian

"Both are still unconscious master. I'll continue to check on them and keep you updated" Sebastian replied with his butler bow

"Thanks" then I returned to our families and passed on what he told me

"How did they get so beat up anyways?"

"Because they had a run in with the same dude who ripped Amy's heart in half when then Phantom manor was attacked. The very same night Rachel and Vincent died." Scythe told us as she hid in the shadows

I was confused

"My little sister took them to heaven in a bid to save Amy's folks but when she returned coughing up blood I knew something went horribly wrong so I paid heaven a visit and found out from Sophia's parents as to what happened. Honestly I'm impressed they are alive. In the past anyone who he confronted would be dead." Scythe added then tossed something to me. A Phoenix Broach

"I want you to give that to Amy after she wakes up. Just tell her the reaper wants the bird and she'll know what it means" then she vanished and I went to check on Amy.

She was still sound asleep with so many bandages on her torso but Fenrir was awake again.

"How are you feeling Fenrir?" I asked him

"I've been better. But I'm worried about Amy. She took the blow of the hits for us and then still tried to attack him with the black inferno or rather Flare's fire......but that backfired as he overwhelmed her and left her as you see her now" Fenrir explained as he leaned against the head of their bed

Amy's POV

~~~~~In the Astral Plain~~~~~

I opened my eyes and saw stars all around me

"Amy?" a familiar voice called out

I turned around and it was my parents

"MOM! DAD!" I shouted in shock.

"Kitten....please be careful. Grimm has our true consciousness trapped here and is manipulating everyone in the kingdom with his miasma including our bodies. He has made puppets of your mother and I" Dad explained which pissed me off

"Even Uncle Jaxon and Aunt Silver as well as Lelani, Lyla, Adam and Edward?!" I asked in fear

"No not them. The six of them knew something was up and managed to convince everyone of the truth. But Grimm still rules. And you need to rest up sweetheart. I saw what happened in heaven. Please my sweet phoenix, rest. You need it and you deserve it" Mom told me then I hugged them before they got sucked away

"NO! MOM! DAD! PLEASE DON'T GO!" then I felt something grab my ankle then when I looked it was purple smoke

"Heh. You really are pathetic princess. It took me no time at all to weaken you and get your soul here"

"You bastard...what have you done to my mother and father?!" I demanded with rage in my voice

"Oh nothing but use them as my own puppets. Since you killed Blaze Shadow I need new bodies to toy with and I can't very well use your body. You have the protection of Hell itself" he's right. After what he did to me a few years ago, Satan himself gave me a protective ward I still use to this day. Honestly it serves more of a beacon for Amybrine at this point.

He released my ankle from his miasma so I could stand up and face him

"Why did you have to survive. Why must you pester me constantly" Grimm asked

"Excuse me? Why are you doing this. What do you want Grimm?"

"Simple. You. You have the blood of the Phoenix and with that I can have the ultimate power I've desired for years. Why else would I make sure my black magic remained in you" then he vanished leaving me just confused, angry, scared, sad but most of all worried. My parents are in danger. My family, my kingdom, my people are in danger. And I'm powerless to save them until this black magic is out of me for good.

It's something I've had since Flare manifested when I was younger but her black magic is different. It's able to merge with mine but this kind, is rejecting my powers making me unable to use the full potential of my magic powers.

~~~~~Real World~~~~~

I slowly opened my eyes a bit then saw how blurry my vision was but my sense of smell was as powerful as ever.

I sat up then got changed into an outfit I haven't worn in a damn godsend

Afterwards I decided to go for a walk and feel the breeze. I am not doing any spell casting for a while

"Ah there you are my lady" Sebastian said when I heard him coming

"When I went to check on you I discovered you not in bed and looked around until I recalled it was here that you collapsed prior was it not" He explained

"Indeed. Sebastian.........how long was I out for? Last thing in reality I recall was watching you bandage Fenrir as Angeline bandaged me then everything went black" I asked as we walked to meet up with Fenrir and the others

He told me Scythe saved me and Fenrir an explanation as she found out from Daybreak.

I walked in then saw DB and Fenrir. Both had about the same amount of bandages as each other so I took the biggest blow

"Well you're a sight for relief. When I found out how severely injured you got, I was worried but I'm glad you're alright" Daybreak said

"Yeah well my parents aren't" then I explained everything that happened in the astral world

"So he's after you because you're a phoenix but how has he not killed you before? Especially when Luxio had you beaten up badly?"

"Because of the protective charm Satan gave me back when I still had my Damascus arm. Even now he's told me I get to keep it that way should I ever need the help of any of the hell born folk, he'd be the one to come to my aide first after Amybrine and Midnight" I told the neko demon who smiled warmly

"In any case I should get back to the castle. Mom and Dad don't want me far from them for the time being. And Amy?"

"Yeah Daybreak?"

"Get some rest. You and Fenrir both need it." and with that she vanished. But not before she gave me a flower pendant

A Dragon Lily? Oh Daybreak.....you know these are my favourites

These flowers remind me of the Phoenix crest in my family lineage.

I decided to put on the pendant then Fenrir and I returned to our Cabin to rest up some more
