She knew her parents loved each other, even if not together. There was a glint in her mother's eyes that only showed when she mentioned something about him. It only made her feel the need to know more and hope that one day she could see them together. To know him as a father seemed impossible, though her mother insisted he loved his only daughter even before he saw her face. She believed her. It wasn't like her mother to lie, not to anyone. Though she questioned if her father would love her now as a young woman, the one most people called odd and unusual.
It was hard to blend in with others not just because of her appearance. Her inquisitiveness also made the people her age withdraw from her. She’d been viewed as different because she could sense and spot the flaws and was not afraid to speak up, which often led to arguments. She was deemed as a rioter when she rebelled against authority figures in any case, wrong or right. Either way, she gained attention she didn't desire.
A female whose intuition was far beyond normal and distinct. She would observe the world, what was happening around her, pensively. It was too difficult to relate to social circles over time, slowly but surely she lost interest in even trying. The older the further her intelligence grew, the more observant she became and astute compared to her peers. However, what she didn't expect was someone to match, an old soul, so to speak.
