This should feel okay it's a good thing to be on a date. Yet, why is the silence so loud? Both Mara and Jonas are sitting across from each other, some coffee in front of them, lovely acoustic music playing in the background, and all she can think about is how awkward she feels.

Jonas keeps fidgeting with his coffee moving it from left to right and Mara keeps sliding her finger against the rim of her coffee cup.

He cannot help noticing how beautiful she looks with her hair pulled up into a bun allowing all her features to show. The sun seems to have an affair with her, illuminating the small perfections of her face, casting a hue down onto her hair, making it take on a redder hue. She notices his starring and as she looks up her eyes seem more honey than the normal dark brown that they portray. She bites her lip and he can tell that she's just as nervous as she is.

"Listen I know this is awkward Mara and I didn't want to even bring up my feelings. I know it's odd I'm your boss, you're my employee, but no matter what it won't be weird. We can be professional adults about this whole thing."

"Yes, I agree. So tell me, what do you like to do for fun?"

She's trying to think of anything because this silence is killing her. As he goes on and on about video games and comic books she moves her eyes over to the open window. She watches as the people pass by in a bustle on their phones and walking their dogs. She tilts her head to the side as Jonas's voice fades in the background. She wants to think about Peter but she knows better than that.

A black limo pulls up to the other side of the coffee shop and Mara watches as the older driver dismounts from the limo.Who would be arriving this parts in a limo she wonders to herself. She looks closer and to her surprise she sees Alfie, one of Peter's friends from the bachelor party, she'd recognize him from anywhere. He dismounts from the limo and her jaw drops. He looks completely different, he's wearing a tailor made black suit that fits him like a glove. His short hair is spiked up a bit at the top and he's wearing black shades as dark as her coffee. What could he possibly be doing here? As he walks past the street onto the sidewalk she is baffled as to why he is here.

She immediately turns her attention back to Jonas almost ducking down trying to hide her face. Jonas notices her odd behavior and he places his hand on hers.

"Mara, are you okay? Is it because I was talking about My little pony video games, I'm sorry if it made you uncomfortable."

"What? No it's just--"

"Mara, fancy seeing you here."

She's cut off by Alfie taking off his sunglasses and placing them in his suit jacket's side pocket. His bright blue eyes, darker than Peter's, seem to sparkle in the gleam from the sunlight.

"Alfie, what are you doing here?"

"Mind if I sit?"

"There's no seat," Jonas says with annoyance.
