~21~ Lightning With Ma Hands!

Y/n's POV
This is a bit more of a sadder chapter guys because emotions are gonna run wild!! Letting ya know :)

I sit on the ground with Maya in my lap, bopping my head to boom box speaker as an empty guitar case with some money tossed inside sits in front of Billy.

"Come on now."

"HANDS!!" He bursts some lightning into the sky. "Lightning with my hands! Lightning with my haaaaaaaaaaaaands!"

"HEy! HEy!"

Uh Oh. Freddy's here. Billy stops for a moment and gives him a nervous glance. Maya shivers for some reason. She likes Freddy though!!

"Hey, young man!"

However, he just ignores Billy and kicks the speaker over. I gasp and Billy quickly stops what he's doing to turn to Freddy.

"Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa! What are you doing-I'm in the middle of a show right now!!" Billy exclaims. "How can I help you?"

"I just wanted to thank you for showing up to lunch today." Billy turns to me and we both share the same look of shame.

Oh, shit. That...That is not good news.

"Yeah, I got a little something called a, uh, suitcase wedgie, right? I dunno if you and your...new assistant..." He glares at me and I lower my head in shame. What did I ever do to you, Freddy? I thought we were friends...

"Have ever heard of it but it's when someone grabs your underwear like that and holds you like a suitcase, walks you down the hallway. And this...Was my underwear."

He throws it at Billy which makes me flinch as it lands close by us. I move elsewhere. Yeah, I did not think I was going to be seeing Freddy's underwear anytime soon, definitely not today. That's gross man.

"Gross." Billy snarls.

"You said you'd come. You and Shadow." Billy sighs softly.

"You said I would come!" Billy exclaims. "I never said I was..."

We silently nodded when he asked us about it. We did say we would come. Oh no!

"I'm a superhero, dude! And Shadow will be coming out later tonight!"

"Yeah, she will so she can make it up to you." I try to comfort Billy but he backs away. "No. Just no."

Freddy however, instantly seems to regret that as I feel my heart breaking then and there. "What did I ever do to you, Freddy?"

"I..." His voice cracks. Lost for words. "Y/n you...I...the...I'm just..." Me and Billy exchange glances seeing that he can't spit the right words out or is lost for all of them.

"Well, for superheroes, you and that Shadow are acting real heroic."

Now we're back to square one.

"How much people paying you today?"

Maya whimpers and hides behind my ankles, which also seems like quite a surprise for something for her to do. It was my time to glare at Freddy.

"What's your problem?"

"My problem?" He asks like it was a stupid question. "Y/n! You-"

"Listen kid, I have serious responsibilities now and I don't want you bothering this girl who's named Y/n."

Freddy glares up at Billy. Freddy's hurt, he's jealous. But of what? I...I don't understand.

"But that's cool because I can carry that burden with Shadow and my HANDS!!" He shoots lightning into the sky and gives Freddy a smug look. But Freddy is not smiling.
