"You sure this is gonna work?"

Billy puts the death ball right where it belongs and purple lace braces go around it as the sins go back to their statues where they belong.

"Told ya." Freddy snickers, arms crossed beside me. I chuckle, having my arms crossed too.

"What a day to remember. I still can't believe you let me also power up." I state.

"You said it yourself, Y/n." Freddy glances at me, smiling with a sparkle in his eyes. "You don't listen to the rules if your family is involved. And you don't have to listen to the rules of having Darkness AND Cyclone powers because you're family too."

I smile widely and he chuckles, wrapping a strong arm around me. It feels good to be in this group. I love these guys so much.

The statues rebuild as the smoke goes back into them, showing the faces of the many deadly seven sins.

"Wowza." I say in a whisper.

Billy gets on the other side of me as the three of us exchange glances. Hold on just a fucking minute.

"You guys know what this place is, right?" Freddy asks. I instantly nod my head.

McFucking Lair! AWE YEAH!

"A dark, haunted cave with demon statues."

That too, Darla.

"Well, yes, but also..."

It takes a moment for it to click for Billy then his eyes widen. "LAIR! We got a lair!"

I squeal with excitement and jump up and down a couple of times with the energy of happiness running through my veins, and Freddy chuckles as Darla also jumps around with me.

"Lair." Mary smiles. Once we both calm down, we all smile widely at each other.

"We got a lair." Freddy says all giddy smiling at me.

"What's a lair?" Darla asks me.

"Oh! It's like our special place. Home is special too but this is our superhero special place."

"We can meet up here, discuss and do hero things." Pedro smirks.

"Oh yeah! That's awesome!" Eugene exclaims.

"Also...I wanted to ask you guys permission for something." Billy says.

"Yeah...what's up?" Pedro asks.

Billy eyes me with concern and I lower my head in shame, grabbing my arm. I really didn't want to bother them but Billy wants me to move in.

Freddy sees my sad expression and quickly becomes alarmed. "Hey, Billy? What is it?"

He sighs. "You shouldn't need to worry about it Y/n."

"Billy, spit it out." Freddy growls defensively.

"I asked if Y/n wanted to move in with us. Maya already has and I think since you guys know a little bit about her darkness, it could be why she was feeling ill sometimes or strange."

"There's more to it, isn't there?" Mary asks.

I see Billy nod his head and Freddy tries to lift my head to look at me but I refuse.

"Then why is she so..?"

"Negative energy feeds the darkness, right?"

"Her house is full of it." Freddy says in realization.

"Her mother is depressed, her father is a jerk and that's putting it lightly. But worst of all, they're not her real parents."

"They aren't?" Eugene asks.
