"That, what..." I muttered, looking up at the figure. "Stay back you... filthy lump of rock"
"Wow, calm down. We'll talk about it, just you're messing the atmosphere and Holly Blue asked me too"
I got up as the purple gem put her arm around me.
"C'mon, we'll get you cleared up"
The Amethyst was called Amethsyt 8-Zxd facet 6 XL, but she let me call her Ame. She explained what the human zoo was and why I was here.
"That's... that's morbid..." I exclimed "Can't I go back?"
"No, Yellow Diamond requested more humans for the zoo" Ame sighed.
"Who?" I was about ask when a voice cut down the hallway, snapping
"8-ZXD get your dull, weak gem ass over here" it called. "Bring the new human, our radiance wishes to inspect it"
"C'mon, it'll be fine" she said, leading me down the hallway.
As we walked, we came towards a door. Outside of the door stood a tall, Yellow gem with dandelion hair. She wore a leotard and cream tigh-highs. Her face, while beatiful, was smug. Her pointy nose was turn up as if you're looking down on us.
"Please state your purpose" she demanded.
"I-I've come to bring the new human to Yellow Diamond"
The yellow gem looked me up and down and thought a minute.
"Well they're certainly aesthetically pleasing to look at, but the robes will have to change. To a more, well, Yellow colour for our opulence. You can address me by Yellow Pearl."
Yellow Pearl lead me inside into a small room with a small part of to the side.
"Urmm, Yellow Pearl?"
"Nyes?"
"Who is Yellow Diamond exactly?" I asked as she measured me, a digital tape measure appearing in front of me.
"Yellow, Oh! She's the most diplomatic, radiant, shining person of them all. She's the most opulent of the 3 diamonds, there's white diamond, yellow diamond and blue diamond. There was a Pink Diamond but she was shattered. But of course, Yellow is the most lawful and powerful. I'm a pearl, I live to serve Yellow."
"Dont you ever want to... to do anything else"
Yellow Pearl blushed, her face turning embarrassed with a soft golden glow.
"N-no! I would be a renegade vagabond! It would be preposterous!"
"Are you sure, you seem to be denying it?"
"Oh, shut up you lowly human"
"Just saying. I think you're denying it. What do you want to do?"
"I-I've always wanted to be a model. I like it when Blue pearl draws me."
"Pearl, what are you doing in there?"
"Nothing my diamond" she screeched back, throwing pineapple robes at me. "Now, change and we'll be done here"
