"Take me to Earth"
Yellow Pearl looked at me, eyes sparkling like the sun on a lake.
"But how? I have no way of escape!" I looked at her.
"We can take an escape pod, we can take a ruby ship, a Roaming eye, and go to Earth!"
Yellow grabbed my hand, my face going red, clasping them in her gentle hands.
Before I could process what happened, I heard a voice in my earnings.
Please prepare for the choosening, all zoo member please gather in the circle of choosening.
the door open to the zoo. Standing there were the two Zoomans, smiling!
"O-77, the choosening has begun! Isn't it exciting?"
"What... What is that?" I asked, turning to Yellow Pearl.
"Talk to you later, O-77"
As I was lead by the Zoomans, I looked around anxiously.
"Urmm... what's the choosening?" I looked up at the zooman. He has long brown hair poofy hair. "Also, what's your name?"
"Oh, the choosening is momentous occasion. I'm K-19." He smiled and turned to his companion. "And this is my partner H-11. We were choosened 4 years ago!"
I gulped, not knowing what that even meant.
The lights were dimmed. We enter into a sea-green clearing, tall Palm trees suroundes the area. All the zoomans stood in the area, in a circle. K-19 lead me into the circle and smiled.
"Mayeb you'll get choosened!" He smiled, stepping back, holding H-11's hand.
"Let the choosening begin"
I scanned around the circle as the Zoomans smiled, each smile filled with anticipation.
"I-34, please step into the centre of the circle"
I watched a blonde girl step into the circle centre.
"P-50, please step into the centre of the circle. Congratulations, you have been choosened! We hope you live happy lives!"
The Zoomans held hands and joined tenderly in a kiss.
What. The. Hell. I looked around distress but everyone just clapped and cheered.
"Y-53, please step into the centre of the circle"
A auburn haired man stepped into the centre. I turned around to looked at K-19. Noticing I was in distress, as I stepped slightly out the circle, he spoke to me.
"O-77, you're clearly nervous, but the choosening is nothing to be afraid of!" He pushed back into place gently.
"Q-90, please step into the circle. Congratulations, you have choosened for each other! We hope you live happy lives!"
A second chorus of happy voices rang out. My heart pumped in my chest as strong as a bear.
"O-77, please step into the circle."
All eyes were on me, glimmering with antication and excitement, waiting for me to enter the centre.
"C'mon, O-77, step into the circle." H-11 softly muttered in my ear as she forcefully moved to the centre. Shaking, I looked around. They all looked so happy, unnaturally happy. Too perfect...
"D-6, please step into the circle. Congratulations, you too have been choosened for each other! We hope you live happy lives!"
I shuffled away from the centre as a zooman walked towards me. His hair was Umber and fell silkily down to half way down his neck. His eyes were a emerald green, they were shiny but they were different to the other Zoomans. He was a bit muscular, he definitely worked out a bit and his skin was tanned.
"O-77, We have been choosened for each other! I hope I make you happy!" He said, walking towards me as I backing up.
"No, no this can't be happening"
"O-77, what's wrong?" I turned to see K-19 and H-11 looking at me in a quizzical manner.
"Oh, H-11! I understand. O-77 is nervous, overwhelmed, emotional to finally be choosened! And on your first time you! You too just need to spend some time together!" K-19 announced, sandwiching me and D-6 together. "Follow me, I know a place where you can get to know each other!"
As we followed him through the forest, we came across a small pile of rocks by the waterfall.
"Here, now you and D-6 can talk to each other alone!" H-11 stated, walking away. I shivered in the cold, it was night time in the zoo and it was surprising cold. I looked at D-6.
"I'm so happy I get to spend my life with you, you're very attractive O-77" he began "all I've ever wanted was to be choosened but then you came along! I'm so lucky to have you!"
"NO. I can't stay here! I'm not staying here!" I snapped finally, D-6 looked shocked.
"What is wrong O-77? Am I... Am I not good enough?"
"No, no, you're fine, I'm just not supposed to be here." Explaining as best as I can, I looked down at the almost crying boy "Listen. A gem is taking me out of here, you can come if you want."
D-6 looked thoughtful and then nodded.
