It was a moment,
both lovely and sad,
How you called for me in the dark,
How you whispered sweet nothings in my ear as if you were mine,
How you told me to breathe when i felt myself slipping away,
How you told me i was intoxicating, a feel-good pill of yours.....your addiction,
yet not enough for you to leave her.
It was moment,
both lovely and sad.
'Til i realized,
......sadness can be lovely sometimes.
