Mapo Tofu, Pizza, and Eggnog laughed wholeheartedly as they stumbled downstairs to the main restaurant, with an adorable pouting Turkey trailing slowly behind them.

"It wasn't like that!" Turkey whined.

"Right, mhm, totally, yeah," Mapo Tofu teased. "I know love when I see it— your face is a literal tomato on fire every time you passed by Master Attendant!"

Eggnog snickered. "Save some for the rest of us, jeez. But seriously, I can't stand you looking at her like that... If you're not going to confess, then I'll-"

"No! She is the King's property! You will stand down and leave her alone, I claimed her first! A crime like that will be punishable by death!" Turkey threatened in an angry tone.  Eggnog only scoffed.

"Good morning, Master Attendan-?"

Pizza paused when he saw a forlorn looking Red Wine, his hands clasped tightly around what seemed like a letter. His eyes scanned the paper again and again, as if looking for something.

Then he froze, the paper slipping from his gloved fingers, fluttering helplessly to the floor.

"Red? What's wrong?" Pizza asked, concerned.

"No..." Red Wine whispered, his eyes wide. He placed a hand over his mouth as he stumbled back, away from the letter like it was a germ.

"Uh..." Eggnog snatched the slip from the ground and read over the words printe neatly across the sheet. Before long, his expression had mirrored Red Wine's, muttering "no" repeatedly under his breath in disbelief.

"What? What's happening? Why is everyone— Give me it, Eggnog!" Turkey exclaimed.

And for the first time, the Food Souls witnessed a tear trickle down the King's cheek, then another, and another until they streamed down his face in an endless flow. He dropped the piece of paper, shaking his head as he flew away in a flurry of dark feathers, in search for answers—

In search for his Master Attendant.

Don't leave me, don't leave me, don't leave us, I need you, we need you, please stay with us—

He burst into the kitchen to find all the pots and pans stacked neatly away, then into your room to find everything tidied up and folded. There were no traces of your presence, as if you were never there.

Their Master Attendant had awoken from this fantasy world of dreams, and returned to their rightful place in the human world, back in reality.

Her very last words were, "I will love you forever and ever. Thank you for being a part of this wonderful fantasy of mine, I will remember and cherish all 107 of you, my beloved Food Souls."

Goodbye.

As if you couldn't tell already, I'm announcing the end of this book, along with my decision to quit the game. Albeit being short-lived, this book has gained a massive amount of attention— more than I ever imagined! My time in the game has been truly wonderful, and I definitely loved writing all the little oneshots in this book.

I was able to meet many wonderful readers and writers through the Food Fantasy community, many elite players, and as dumb as this may sound— I think I truly developed a relationship with my Food Souls. Yes, they're fictional, but they exist as characters, clad with a complete personality, background, and everything in a normal, breathing person would have and of course, along with magical, superhuman abilities. I learned a lot from this game and from the people in it, and I want to thank you all for such a fantastic experience.

I will continue writing my own stories, but school is occupying my entire life... I am still a youngster trying to struggle her way through life... ;-; please be easy on me

Thank you for being so patient with me. Live on and continue playing Food Fantasy!

I truly love you all. 💛
