Marinette's pov.
I swung away to find Alix, and to do that I need to find her target. The disgusting Adrien Agreste. I jumped up on a roof near the Eiffel tower and saw what I thought would make me laugh yo death. Adrien ran in circles with Alix right behind him shooting gum at him with her gun and the way he dodged it was so hilarious! He really overdid it just to make sure his Agreste brand clothes wouldn't get ruined. Hmm... should I really interrupt it? It looks like they get along so well. Then suddenly Adrien spotted me and shouted
Adrien: LADYBUG!!!!!! SAVE ME!!!!!!
Ugh, now I had to do something. I jumped down to them as I swung my yo-yoaround Alix's waist and pulled her backwards. I landed in front of her with Adrien behind me. Why does that feel naughty? He put his hands on my shoulders and hid behind me. He was... shaking? Was he scared? For real? Alix got up and looked deeply into my eyes
Gumix: you better back off Ladybug, he have to pay for what he've done!
Ladybug: Alix stop this! This isn't you! Don't let Hawk Moth use you again!
A too familiar butterfly icon appeared in front of her face. Hawk Moth was probably telling her not to listen to me.
Gumix: I'm not Alix! I'm Gumix! And y-
Ladybug: wait a second, "Gumix"? Really? Were Hawk Moth out of cool names or what?
Gumix frowned at me as she pointed her gun at me, she was right about to shoot when I got pulled at the side. Adrien and I rolled and I ended up on top of him. I got up very quick. He stayed behind me as he got up. But this time he grabbed my waist and hid behind me. You disgusting little perverted-
Suddenly Gumix skated into me and I flew backwards and hit the ground. Ouch. I got up and was able to balance on my feet. My shoulder hurt. I could see how Gumix noticed that as she skated towards me for an other hit. But I grabbed her arm and swung her away. Then I ran to Adrien and picked him up, bridal style- sadly. I swung away and flew through the city with the biggest jerk in my arms... I'm disgusted of myself. I didn't even look at him, but once I glanced at him he quickly looked away, that's weird. I landed next to the louvre and put him down
Ladybug: hide, I'll take care of Gumix
Adrien: I want to help you
Ladybug: you would just be in the way, besides you're Gumix's target. Just do as I say and hide. Chat will shop up any second anyways. He'll back me up
Adrien nodded as he ran away, I didn't pay attention to where he went. I was just happy to have gotten him out of the way. But that joy didn't stand for long. Just six seconds after he ran away he ran back again, screaming. I turned to look at where the sound came from and saw Adrien running with Gumix right behind him... why are you doing this to me Hawk Moth?! I swung my yoyo around his waist as I jumped up in the air. I quickly pulled him in my arms and swung away again. Gumix was really not gonna give up. I landed on a rooftop and put him down as we sat down
Ladybug: so tell me, why Is Gumix after you?
As if I didn't already know. I just wanna see if he'd lie to a superhero
Adrien: I threw a very sticky gum in her hair and she got mad. It was wrong and I wan to make it up to her
Uhh... what? Who the hell are you and what have you done with the asshole Adrien Agreste? Focus now Marinette!
Ladybug: okay, I can't leave you alone until Chat have shown up.
I grabbed my yo-yo and made a call to Chat, no answer. Where can that cat be?! Why hasn't he shown up yet? He's always in time to give me a headache! And to be honest I'd rather have him stuck on my back for a whole day than having to stick around with Adrien- wait! Did I just make a pun?! Oh god... now that I think about it I'm glad he's not here at the moment.
Ladybug: the akuma is probably in her gun. Let's get you to a safe place for now
I picked him up again, ugh why am I putting myself through this? Can't I just leave him over to Gumix? Wait! That's it! I gasped as I said
Ladybug: I've got a plan!
Adrien: which is?
I smirked as I said
Ladybug: you wanted to help me right?
Adrien: y-yeah...
Ladybug: Good
I jumped away with him to the Louvre again. My plan was very simple. Offer to hand him over to her. Then a plot twist. I really hope Chat shows up. Otherwise I'm gonna kill him! We landed at the same spot again
Adrien: I don't wanna be rude but to you mind telling the plan?
Ladybug: all you have to do is play along, okay?
He nodded in confusion. Then out of nowhere a gigant chewed gum came flying towards us. I jumped at Adrien and rolled away a few meters in last second. Then we both stood up and I started my plan.
Ladybug: Okay Gumix! You win! Adrien is yours
Adrien: I'M WHAT?!
