Riley's P.O.V

It's so lovely to see and stare at a busy city, yung tipong ingay nito ang nagsisilbing musika sa aking paligid.

Lalo na kapag gabi, para kang nasa New York with those street lights, mga pailaw sa shops and vehicles kapag gabi.

I can't believe na eight years na pala ang nakalilipas.

I was staring outside nang biglang  tumunog ang cellphone. Tinignan ko kung sino yung tumatawag.

Si Reymark pala.

"Hello?"

"Hey, sweetie, i miss you already."

"Baliw, magkasama lang tayo kaninang umaga ah."

"Being away from you for a minute makes me wanna skip all those meetings and appointments."

"Ang O.A mo naman. Anyways, ba't ka napatawag?

"Susunduin ka namin ngayon sa shop mo."

"You got the kids?"

"Papa! Papa! Papa!"

"Aaww hello my little angels, how's school?"

"It's fun, Papa."
"Papa, i have a new friend!"

"Oh, happy to hear that, okay give your phone back to Daddy na."

"Hello sweetie, i'll hang up now."

"Sige, ingat kayo ha? Bye."

I can't believe that we're going to have a perfect family with the person i love. Nabiyayaan pa kami ng dalawang anghel.

Nag-surrogacy kami, which is not that dufficult pero mahal nga lang talaga. But it's worth it, Xion and Rayne is already at their third grade.

Back in past where we had dinner at Reymark's House, kaya pala parang seryoso ang usapan ng magulang namin ay may balak na pala kaming ipakasal, gusto talagang ipakasal ng Dad ni Reymark sa akin.

After we graduated college, nag-propose sa akin si Reymark and everything was settled, ginanap ang kasal namin sa France.

Nagtrabaho ako para maka-ipon ng sariling pera, ayokong dumedepende sa yaman ng pamilya ni Reymark. With my own savings, i was able to build a small cafe shop.

Sabi kasi ni Reymark kahit maliit lang daw na shop para hindi sagaran ang trabaho sabi niya, i understand him kaya pinagbigyan ko siya.

Reymark is now the CEO of their main company, CEO pa rin naman ang dad niya sa ibang company, ganun din sa mga kapatid niya.

Dahil sa malikot na imahinsayon ko, i was able to make my creativity come to life. Pride and Bites Cafe is not only a coffe shop but a safe place for people like me in my community.
