I snapped out of my daze when I realized we made it to our stop

A somewhat run down apartment but it was good enough

"We're here. I know it's not much but this is all I can afford right now" Brianna said

"No it's fine and thank you for helping me out that mean a lot to me" I said

"I just saw you and knew I needed to help you out trust me I've been in your situation a few years ago I know it's hard but you gonna get through this with my help." she said

I said thank you again and got out the car and headed to her apartment.

Apartment 3B

She opened the door and to my surprise it looks pretty good for it to look like that on the outside.

"This looks so nice girl" i said

"tha-" she was about to say

"MOMMY!" a half naked little girl came running towards Brianna

She looked no more than 3 years old

"Fat fat comeback and put your clothes on!" a deep voice said comming into the living room too

"Hey bae this Mya she gonna be staying with us for a while" Brianna said

The guy stared at me with an unreadable face i'm guessing he doesn't want me here

"lemme talk to you for a second" the guy said

when they walked away i let out a breath i was holding in i didn't know about

I ain't NEVA saw a man so FINE in my life EVER.

He was darkskin with curly hair he was no more than about 6'2 and he just so fine ya'll

They both walked back in the room

"There's a guest bedroom right down the hall that's where you are going to be sleeping and im going to give my boss a call to get you a job at the diner with me." Brianna said

"Thank you for letting me stay and doing this for me" i said

"your welcome and oh this is my boyfriend Ghost" she said

What type of name is Gh- ohhhh must be a drug dealer

"Hi my name is M-" i tried to say

"I don't give a fuck" Ghost said mugging me and walked out the room with his daughter

"I'm sorry he acting that way that nigga always on his period" Brianna

i laughed

"It's ok. Well imma put my stuff in the room" i said

"Ok and Goodnight ill see you in the moring"

i said 'Goodnight back and grabbed my things and went to the room she told me to go to

I got in the bed and just laid there

For the first time i thought this shit a little weird I don't even know these people and here I am laying in their guest bedroom

All I dont is act and don't think what am I doing

I stayed up all night just thinking about what my life would have been like if I was in a happy home

Next Day

I walked out the guest room with the smell of food and I heard talking

"Good morning everybody" I said with a smile

"Good morning" Brianna said

"Mama who dat girl" the little girl said

"Thats Mya and this is my daughter Winterr"

"Aw what a pretty name for a beautiful girl" I said

We ate and I washed the dishes

as I was washing the dishes Ghost walked in and I couldn't help but stare I mean I didn't mean to and before I looked away we locked eyes

"Fuck you looking at" he said and continued to walk to his room

He gon come around one day
