Luka opened his eyes, to find himself in a bright pink room. He lifted his head and looked around. The walls were littered with photos, and the chairs were full of fabric and unfinished designs. That's when he remembered that he had fallen asleep in Marinette's room. He got up, and looked at the clock. He jumped as he realized that school was going to start in only 12 minutes!
Luka rushed around the room like a headless chicken, before climbing up Marinette's ladder.
"Marinette! Wake up!" Luka gently shook the bluenette. She began to stir, causing his cheek to lightly flush, but he shook it off as soon as she sat up. He blushed as he saw her in her pyjamas, causing him to fall back onto the floor.
"L-Luka, are you alright?" Marinette asked him quietly, but worry edging her voice."Y-Yeah." He rubbed his back as he got up. "Don't worry about me." He sighed. That's when he remembered. "Marinette! School!"
Marinette's expression completely shifted, and she rushed to her closet, ready to change.
After she did so, the two rushed out of the house, lucky that Marinette's mom wasn't around at the time. When the two reached the crosswalk in front of her house, Marinette looked up to him, her cheeks lightly speckled with a pink hue. "U-Um Luka. I-I know this is coming out of nowhere, but... do you remember that day when we watched the movie?"
Luka nodded, slightly confused.
"W-Well, this is going to sound weird but, by any chance did you... change me?"Luka's face instantly turned red. "W-What?"
"W-Well, I don't remember ever changing into my sleepwear when you came over that day, and... well..." She trailed off.
Luka felt his face burning. "N-No!" Luka said that louder than he intended, causing a few people to turn and look at him. "No." He repeated, a bit quieter. "I-I didn't c-change you." He sighed looking at his feet. He then turned back to Marinette, wanting to make it less uncomfortable. "I-It was probably your mom."
Marinette nodded, a sigh escaping her lips. "Y-Yeah. It probably was."

Once Marinette and Luka said their farewells, Marinette rushed into her classroom, thankful she wasn't late.
"Marinette!" Marinette turned to face the ombre haired girl who was now storming towards her, her brows furrowed. "You need to tell me. Now."
Marinette giggled nervously.
"Girl, it's not every day I see you talking to a boy so carefree like that! What is going on between you two?""W-What? Y-You mean Luka?" Marinette scratched her neck, feeling a bit flustered.
"Yes, I mean Luka!"
"W-Well, you see..." Marinette sighed. "I'll tell you lat-"
"No way girl. Last time you said that you ran away! There is no way I'm letting you use that excuse again." Alya crossed her arms.
Marinette sighed. Nodding her head, she quickly explained what happened after the battle with Love Eater and how Luka had helped her through her dark time. She obviously left out the part about her revealing her identity, and how Master Fu was the guardian of the miraculous.
Master Fu. That was a name she felt unworthy of speaking. She had lost him, and the other miraculous. There was no way she could be the best Ladybug. She knew it was a mistake for Master Fu to choose her to be the miraculous holder. The only reason she hadn't given away her miraculous yet, was because of her Kwamii, and Luka. Sighing, she turned her head to Chloe's now empty seat. She had gone missing along with Master Fu, and Marinette couldn't help but feel responsible. Her thoughts were interrupted by the bell, indicating that class was starting. She pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind, her full attention now on the teacher.

School ended, and Marinette sulked out of the building. Her book bag felt as heavy as ever, and she felt as if a single leaf fell on her bag, the world under her would collapse and she would fall with it. She then felt a hand on her shoulder, causing Marinette to jump. Looking up, she saw the familiar blue eyes, and the beautiful black and blue hair. Without thinking, she wrapped her arms around Luka. She heard him chuckle before wrapping his arms around her, and felt him ruffle her hair. She giggled, as the two let go.
"Marinette Dupain-Cheng!"
Marinette turned to see Lila fuming towards her. Her hair was a mess, and her bag was ripped every which way. "L-Lila! What happened to your bag?"
"Don't act as if you don't know!" Lila fumed. "I saw you doing this to my bag!"
"W-What?" Marinette backed away from the girl, her legs beginning to shake. "I-I didn't do anything!"
People were starting to crowd around them, most of them glaring at Marinette.
"Why are you trying so hard to seem innocent? Admit it Marinette. You've had something against me ever since I joined this school! You stole my necklace, you tried to frame me, and you've lied to everyone about-"
"That's enough!"
Marinette jumped at the sound of Luka's voice."L-Luka?" Marinette's voice cracked. She had begun to cry at some point of Lila's comments, which probably made her look more guilty. After all, this wasn't the first time Marinette's been through this.
"Luka! I knew you would understand!" Lila ran up to him, grabbing his arm.
However, Luka pushed the girl away. "How could you do this to her?" Luka asked Lila. "What has Marinette ever done to you that would make you want to do something like this?"
"W-What?"
"What has Marinette done to you that makes you want to make her look bad?"
Lila backed away from him. "Did you not hear me? I told you that she's-"
"No." He glared down at the green-eyed girl. "What has she actually done to you that made you hate her so much?"
Lila glared at Luka, her hands turning into fists. "That is what actually happened."
Luka shook his head. "No, Lila." He sighed. "The more you lie, the deeper the hole you make for yourself."
"I'M NOT LYING!" Lila cried out.
Luka sighed. "I can't help you then Lila. I'm sorry."
The crowd of students were clearly surprised. They were looking at one another, while some were now glaring at Lila.
Luka placed his hand on Marinette's shoulder, leading her away from the school. As they were walking, Marinette began to sob.
"Marinette?""Thank you." Marinette turned to face Luka. "For everything."
Luka smiled. He reached for Marinette's hand and held it firmly. "I'd do anything to help you."
Marinette smiled and wrapped her arms around him. "I'm glad I have you, Luka."
"I'm glad I met you, Marinette."
