Authors note: so I know that I am a terrible author who fails to update a story for far too long and I'm sorry, I have been ridiculously busy recently but I'm back and ready to start updating more often so enjoy and I'm sorry again

Percy POV

I watched with storming eyes as that useless waste of Minotaur Dung Douglas held a piece of the hunters uniform in his hand. It had clearly been ripped and when I saw who it was that he had stolen it from I lost it. Hermione standing there holding her shirt so as to prevent any one from seeing her skin. She had seen us all approach but Douglas hadn't, if he had he never would've said what he did. "What's the matter babe don't like what you see? Cause I know that I could get you to drop that little lesbian girl band of yours for a real man like me. Come on just move your arms, I wanna see your body." (Just to be clear I mean no offence and don't agree with anything he says, I just need a good enough excuse for the events to follow)

My voice was deep and resonating across all of CHB when I spoke and I saw many demigods freeze in fear. "Son of Poseidon, you have been found by the demigod champion of Olympus to be abusing and harassing a member of The hunters of the Goddess Artemis. You will stand trial in the eyes of the Olympian council where they will decide your fate." I growled, dragging him to the sword fighting arena as I did so.

When we arrived I threw him to his knees and stood behind him with my swords placed in an X shape around his neck. I sent a mind message to the gods using Hera's blessing calling them here and almost instantly the area was shrouded by 14 bright flashes of light. "My Lords and Ladies, I have found Douglas Michaels, Son of Poseidon the earth shaker harassing one of My lady's hunters, I have brought him before you to stand trial for his crimes against both a demigod and one of my sisters." As I spoke I could see Poseidon looking at Douglas in disappointment but nothing compared to the rage that was swirling in Artemis's eyes.

"Perseus, do you wish to stand in as executioner, the council shall be the jury and I shall stand in as Judge. Do any object?" Zeus asked as no one made a move against his suggestion he nodded before turning his attention back to the mewling whim in front of me. "Douglas Michaels, how do you plead in the face of your accusation?" He boomed and I had to prevent myself from rolling my eyes at his dramatics. "I- I plead f-for a trial by combat!" Every demigod here looked confused and shocked, I had beaten him once before when he had help, what was he planning on doing this time?

"Very well, you shall fight Pers-" Zeus began before he was cut off by Douglas. "No, with all due respect my lord, that fight would be unfair, he has had training long before me and has more power then any demigod known. I wish to select a champion for him to fight." He stated and I began to see his plan. It was a cunning attempt and one that I did not know how it would pay off. I was a fool to bring the council here, I had handed him a divine platter of beings who would probably like to hurt me if not kill me.

"Very well, we shall adhere to your request yet if you can not find a champion who is willing to fight for you then you shall take the mantle yourself. Proceed." I removed my swords and Michaels began to walk around, eyeing every deity here. Eventually he stood in front and cleared his throat with a smirk on his face. "I would ask 3 members of the council if any is willing to be my champion. I ask you Lady Athena, Lady Artemis and Lord Ares if you would be willing to fight Perseus Jackson." I looked across the faces of the three chosen.

Artemis was already shaking her head which does not surprise me, after all he is on trial for the harming and harassment of one of her hunters. Lady Athena was sitting with a contemplative face, she was looking at me up and down curiously, as if she was wondering whether or not to test my capabilities before ultimately she too rejected the offer. Ares however was smiling ear to ear. "A chance to pummel that sea scum again? I never thought I would get to try what with him being in the favour of Olympus. I accept!"

As Ares spoke his body began to morph as armour plated him and he pulled out a two handed heavy sword. I used Ares' own blessing against him and evaluated the strengths and weaknesses of the weapon. It was a strong blade good for a powerful hit but slow. Ares has speed due to him being a God yet he is still slower then most Gods. In fact he is maybe just faster then the average human. Not only that but he is a being of rage and emotion, taunts and provoking him will cause sloppy mistakes.

"You ready for a beat down Jackson?" He laughed, clearly confident in his abilities. I just smirked at him. "You seem to forget War God, ever strength has to bow down to wisdom sometimes." I looked at Athena as I spoke and I saw her look at me with a mixture of pride and gratitude. Annabeth on the other hand was steaming but hey, she doesn't like me so why would I care? I turned riptide in my hand before getting into a more open stance, my left leg leading and my sword hanging loosely in my right hand.

"BEGIN!"
