just another day to go to school .

oh my god. this is only 2nd day and it's worse than yesterday .

"hi dumb . did you miss me?"

i just groan with annoyance. i just act like he isn't around me.

"ya ! sunwoo-ah ! leave her alone !"

i look to that area that was heard . maybe he's the leader of the clique . he quickly approach us , apologise for his behavior and drag Sunwoo away from me . the way he look at me with puppy eyes . i just smile and shook my head . wait , i smile over that annoying guy . what am i even thinking ? pabo .

"I'm sorry if you have to see my bestfriend like that, y/n."

from there, i knew that voice. i turn and see how Eric was scratching the back of his neck, face being all scrunched up. i just giggle and hug him while whispering "it's okay". he just chuckle and pat my back several times in soft manners.

whispers everywhere when i hug Eric. most of the whispering i hear is

"how does the new girl knows Eric?"

i just gently remove the hug and walk away from Eric but he's fast enough to grab me and put his arm around my shoulders, making me shock. he shouted something but i couldn't hear anything since i was so shock that i hang my head low.

i felt us moving but i didn't bother to look up and just continue to walk. i just wondering why is he so brave. just because he's in the bad guys clique? well, i couldn't stop thinking that i didn't even realise he called my name.

"y-yes?"

"you didn't listen to me, did you?"

i shook my head as a no. he just sigh in defeat.

"i just want to know." my brain couldn't function early in the morning but i decide to ask this now.

"how did you got inside this bad guys clique?"

he look at me with his sudden cold stare. to be honest, i've never seen him being like this before. shivers went down to my spine when i look at him. i look down, getting ready to get scolding or something.

"i didn't mean to hurt a girl."

i look up to see Eric looking at the side.

"she was the one who hurt me. she left me. she was the one who makes me into this bad guy vibe. that's why sunwoo and i went inside the clique."

his words. he sound so sad. i could feel the sadness. but wait, sunwoo? what did he do?

"i can't tell his story to you. but i can say it might be sound way worse than mine. that's the reason why everyone says to stay away from him."

i didn't know he could read minds now. how does he knows that i'm asking that question? i just nodded. what if sunwoo actually caught my attention? he seems to be a good guy but with a bad vibe.

class is starting but i couldn't pay attention to the lesson since i'm so confuse with the words that Eric says in that one sentence .
