It seemed to be years ago when I first met her. She was Dallas's younger sister. She looked just like him and she sure was beautiful. Her slim tan body and long brown hair and those icy blue eyes. She was short about 5''2 I was about 5''9. She moved to Tulsa with her brother and I fell in love with her. She became Soda's best friend and the gang loved her. I remember it was the first time I ever saw Two Bit, Dally, and Soda cry when she left. She had joined some kind of college before her and Dally left she said she did it before she met us when she didn't want to leave New York but now she had to leave us and that probably hurt her more than any of us. I know she was 16 just like me but she wanted to make it and she did so good in school they offered her an early start. That was the end of our story but our story didn't start until a year before she left. I couldn't help but remember Laine Winston she was my life.
