Kaycee jolted awake when a sound, only a slight buzz (but scary nonetheless), vibrated her pillow and consequently tickled her earlobe.

She put a finger up to it, still so tired that she had no idea why she woke up in the first place. When she heard the buzz again, however, her mind refreshed her on her whereabouts and happenings, and she grabbed her phone hesitantly from under her pillow.

Two text messages take up the screen right under the clock, reading 9:25 am. She groans. I knew I shouldn't have tweeted, she inwardly facepalms.

He had quoted her tweet from this morning about a crush, just as she suspected. Her followers must have tagged him- he never reads her tweets. She rubs at her eyes tiredly, before typing out a lazy response.
