I walk down

I walk in a field with nothing but silence, and trip again and again on the muddy ground.
I need to quickly go to my house, and take care of some of the things I left there this morning...
After tripping one last time, I see my brother. We close our eyes together, saluting each other One last time before I leave.

I get to the house out of breath, and take what I can before the sun sets. I search for my mother, but nobody seems home.

The pale light of the moon illuminates the living room through the window, and I see my cat, hiding inside a cupboard filled with liquid.

I leave the house, and the moonlight gives me the scene I broke through earlier ;
Inside the field, the dozens of bodies are just piled up with one another, their blood mixing with the earth. The human faces, with most of them twisted with pain, gave a feeling of coldness I never felt before.

I felt sweat down my spine, paralyzed by fear.
A feeling of warmth spread from my torso, and the pain kept me from thinking. I lost my balance, and finally realized :

I got shot down.
