Marc's POV.
It was a rainy day. I was lucky that Alix had a spare umbrella that she could lend me. I asked Nathaniel if he wanted to walk with me home since he didn't had something against the rain but he simply shook his head and told me that his mother is picking him up. So I walked alone through the rain. People were walking or running through the rain. A boy who looked like he was in a hurry bumped into me and knocked the umbrella out of my hands. It flew over to some bushes. When I went over there to pick it up when I heard something move in the bushes. I looked inside and saw... a puppy! He was small, probably 6 months old. He had black fur and lime green eyes. He was really scared. I slowly picked him up and petted him. He calmed down. I knew there was a vet nearby so I went to it. It turned out that the puppy didn't had an owner. I didn't want to give the puppy away so I called my mom and asked her if I can keep it. She said yes but it was my responsibility to look after him. I didn't know how to name him so I called Nathaniel " Hey Nathaniel." " Hi Marc, what's up?" I wanted to surprise him wit the puppy so I told him a lie " I was writing a part for our story where a dog got freed from an akuma. I don't know what the name of the dog should be." There was silence on the other line before Nathaniel spoke up " " What does the dog look like?" " He has black fur and green eyes." " Sounds like a 'Roby' to me." I thought about it and then smiled " That is a nice name. I'll take it." I smiled and had an idea " Do you wanna come over tomorrow? Maybe we can work on the comic together?" " Ok, how about five o'clock?" " That is ok. I'll see you tomorrow then." " Bye." I hung up and left the vet. When we got home, Roby was sniffing everything that was laying on the ground. I got a box and put a blanket in it, so Roby could sleep in it. After all the sniffing, he got in the box and went right to sleep. I left to go to the pet store. I bought dogfood, a leash, a collar, some bowls for the food and water and a dog bed. I thought that that would be enough so I went back to my house. I placed the bowls with food and water next to Roby. ' I'll do the other things tomorrow' I thought, so I went to bed. I was really excited about Nathaniel coming tomorrow.
Nathaniel's POV
I was on my way to Marc's place. He he asked me if we could work on the comic book. I was really excited. Alix told me I had to tell him already that I like him but I didn't know what to say so I did what I can do best. I drew him a picture. I was already at his door. There was no going back now. I rung the doorbell and waited. After a minute Marc opened the door and greeted me with a big smile " Hi Nathaniel!" I smiled back " Hey." He let me in and we walked up to his room but before we went in he stopped me " Hey, Nathaniel? Do you remember yesterday's phone call? I really like you to meet someone." Before I could ask what he meant he opend the door and a small dog came running out. Marc had a dog?! I bend down and the dog jumped on my lab. I wanted to cry tears of joy, this dog was so cute! Marc chuckled " That is Roby, my new dog." It took me a little time to process what he just said and then it clicked " This is the dog you were talking about?" He rubbed the back of his head " Yeah, I found him on the street and decided to take care of him. I didn't know how to name him so I asked you." I smiled. Marc asked me to name his dog (even though I didn't knew). After that we worked on the comic book for an hour. I finally decided to give Marc my drawing and tell him that I like him. I got the paper and turned to Marc to give it to him. He looked at it and tried to take it but suddenly Roby came out of nowhere and took the paper. He completely destroyed it. Great. Marc apologized for Roby but I told him it's ok " What was on the paper anyway? " asked Marc. I got nervous " U-uh I-it was n-nothing..." Marc didn't looked convinced " You sure?" I knew I had to tell him sooner or later so I just spilled it " Marc, I like you. I really do and I did since the reverser incident." Marc became really red " O-o-oh t-that... I-I.. Y-you..." he struggled to say something. I grabbed his hands and he calmed down " W-what I'm trying to s-say is that I l-like you too." I was more than happy. I hugged him really tight and hugged back. I pulled away and leaned in and Marc did to but before we could kiss Roby jumped in between us and we kissed him on both cheeks. Marc laughed and I looked at Roby " You can't stop getting in the way do you?" Roby just barked in response. I shook it of and stood up " Hey Marc, let's get some icecream. I'll pay." Marc stood up with Roby in his arms " Sooo like a date?" I smiled at him and ruffled his hair. Roby barked like he wanted some head petting to so I also ruffled his head. I mumbled to myself " I'll have to tell Alix later." Marc looked at me curious " What was that?" I looked back at him " Oh nothing." Marc and Roby both turned their heads to the side confused. At that moment Roby kinda reminds me of Marc. Both have black hair and green eyes. I was actually kind of glad that Roby took the paper. I would've probably made an excuse and didn't tell him. For the rest of the day we enjoyed some icecream and watched Roby while he runs around and plays with other dogs.
