As they finally reached the kingdom Angel couldn't help but notice how she was nervous.  She looked out the window of the carriage as they continued to castle just looking at her surroundings.  Things were different here then in her kingdom.  It was much more populated.  The streets were filled with townsfolk and there was a strange sense of knowledge in the air.  That made no sense to her but the only way she could think of to explain it.  The people were more progressive then in her homeland.  As they headed deeper into the kingdom they turned away from the castle.  Angel looked at the prince confusion in her eyes.  "Sir Hate asked us to meet him at the magician's workshop." The prince said rolling his eyes at her for wanting to know where they were going.  She looked down as he was now angry with her again.  She couldn't understand what she did but it was always something.

Soon they arrived at the local magician's workshop.  She smiled excitedly seeing new friends right outside waiting for them.  The prince got out of the carriage first going immediately to their new friends leaving Angel alone.  As she reached the door of her carriage she couldn't help but notice Knight Hate staring at her.  She smiled as a gentle blush caressed her cheeks.  She didn't know why she blushed but that didn't change that she was.  She climbed down to be immediately pounced by Princess Ellen giving her a huge hug and welcoming her to their kingdom.  Despite all the excitement Princess Ellen brought with her, Angel noticed out of the corner of her eye that Hate was still staring at her and despite trying to hide it she could not hide it from herself, she was looking at him too.

They started walking outside first at the marketplace.  They introduced Angel to a local game they played in their kingdom.  It was a card game full of imagination, and excitement.  It was quite fun and Angel loved the idea of it.  She couldn't wait to try it herself.  They continued to talk, walk, and shop for a little while before heading back to the magician's workshop.

Angel couldn't help but notice the size of the workshop.  It was huge.  It towered above her.  As they walked in there were games and fun to be had everywhere.  She wondered if it was like this all the time but she didn't have long to wonder before being dragged off from game to game.  She played several games with her new friends and she couldn't help but notice how much fun she was having.  She was actually smiling which was rare for her.  After a while Angel decided she needed some air.  They had been playing games for hours and she just needed to step outside.  She told the group and then turned to walk outside.  After a few moments she turned and to her surprise was face to face with Hate.  She smiled sweetly to him.  "Thank you so much for today.  It's been a amazing day." She said sweetly staring deep into his eyes.  She found it was easy to get lost in his eyes.  He smiled gently at her and reached his hand out for hers.  "I have one more surprise set up for just you." He told her.  She couldn't help but be curious what he had up his sleeve.  She put her hand gently into his and he escorted her back inside.  They went to another portion of the workshop.  This was where the magician concocted his potions.  She looked around curiously at everything.  She wondered what all the potions did but there was not time for as many questions as she had so instead she looked at everything.

Hate laughed softly as he watched Angel and the curiosity she had dancing in her eyes.  He reached up and grabbed two potions off the counter.  He handed her one of them.  "I had the magician prepare these for us when I was told you would be coming." He said with a smile.

She took the potion from him and pulled the cork out.  She sniffed it curiously as she looked at it.  "What is it?" She asked looking back up at him.  "It is a pleasure here in our kingdom.  It will make you feel better.  It's called a mind eraser." He said to her watching her wondering what she would do.  She bit her lip gently unsure of what to do.  She couldn't explain why but she trusted Hate.  That was not something that happened often and never for someone she just met.  They clinked the vials and each drank their prospective potions.  Angel immediately started to feel different.  Less stress in her life.  She felt like she was able to be happy.  She smiled at him and they both laughed.

Soon after they headed back to the castle.  They hung out together for a while at the castle.  Although Angel's prince had too much to drink and was being very mean to Angel.  He treated her worse and worse every minute that passed.  He teased her and picked on her in front of their new friends and she only became more and more embarrassed.  She thought this was going to be the end of the friendship.  He made her look like a horrible person, and then said things like the only reason to keep her around was how beautiful she was.  She found herself hating herself more and more with every passing moment.  She knew this was too good to be true.  She hated the fact that she let herself for a moment believe that things could be different.
