A/N:

Hey, guys.

Firstly, I wanna say that I'm really touched that so many of you don't want me to end this story.

But the sad truth is, it will end one day.

I haven't planned how or when yet but it will.

I have a proposition for you all though.

So, I read some comments that have got me thinking.

When this story ends (God forbid) I'll be pretty sad.

This was my first ever popular fanfic.

It has sentimental value.

So, I was thinking...

I don't really want to say goodbye to the story.

Hopefully you guys don't want to either.

A few comments have grabbed my attention.

I had a thought and I'm kind of liking it now.

I'm not sure when this story will be finishing but how about...

A sequel of some sort?

Hmmm??

But with a twist.

I'd like to write the whole thing again but...

In Mikey and Ray's POV.

This story changes between Gerard and Frank's POV for each chapter.

I want to do that again but with Mikey and Ray.

So it'd be more of a Rikey fanfic than a Frerard but ofc there would be Frerardness because it's basically the same story.

What do you think?

I'm kind if liking this idea.

You wouldn't just be hearing the same bits over and over.

Well, you would recognise some dialect and stuff but because Mikey and Ray keep to themselves in I'll Be Your Gerard, wouldn't it be nice to see what they're up to?

You know what's going on between Gerard and Frank in the story.

But what about Mikey and Ray?

Sure, there's been some teasing from Gee and Frank but...

Yeah.

Also, if you guys like that, I might do a second sequel that's set in the future but back in Gee and Frank's POVs.

We'll see.

What are your thoughts on all of that?

{Gerard's POV}

"Gerard!"

I sighed.

It was just beginning to feel like before.

But no.

Just as I had managed to hold Frank's hand, my Mom was calling me.

"I'll be back in a bit," I sat up and reluctantly let go of his hand.

As I had suspected, Frank didn't reply.
