"Tony~" Steve cooed in the smaller man's ear early in the morning. Anyone who knew Tony Stark also knew he was anything but a morning person, which was the complete opposite of Steve Rogers.
Although their many differences (Steve only drinks black coffee while Tony finds it atrocious- only a mad man would do that.), the two seemed to bond almost naturally over time. They had to admit, when they first met, things were a little rough. However, as the pair got to know each other, they were unstoppable.
"If this isn't important, I don't want to hear it right now Cap." Tony muttered under several layers of blankets. He moved slightly, allowing himself to be buried more. "Go away." He groaned.
Steve rolled his eyes playfully at Tony. He crawled on the other side of the bed, almost like a puppy would do to recieve attention from their owner. "Come on, Tony!" Steve crawled ontop of the brunette, hovering over his smaller body.
Carefully, he removed the blankets covering Tony's face. Immediately, it scrunched up at the sight of the morning light hitting his eyes. "Jesus-" He muttered, moving his head to get out of the blinding sunrays.
"Steve, its a Sunday for crying out loud!" Tony complained as his eyes finally came to a full open. He stared up at the blonde, almost a pleading yet playful glare in his hazel eyes. "This better be important."
Steve chuckled. "It is! Guess what day it is?" He hummed, still remaining in his position. Tony stared up with a blank expression. "Almost six months together and you still haven't realized I do not keep up with the date." He deadpanned his words.
Steve only sighed, which was mixed in with a small groan. "It's December 1st- Which means it's the start of the Christmas season."
Tony let out an exasperated 'Oh good god.' as he tried to roll over. "Cap, I know people that celebrate Christmas in the middle of July. If you think it's just now starting, I'm not the one who's behind."
At that, Steve huffed as he rolled off of Tony. "Come-on! It's our first Christmas together! I even made hot cocoa and-" Tony didn't let Steve finish as he got up, stretching. "Alright! I'm up!" He mumbled as Steve smiled.
"Great- We have a lot to do, ya know. We have to go find a tree and everything. Presents, too-" Tony held up his hand. "Hold it. You realize I haven't put up a tree for Christmas in years, right? Christmas just....." Tony looked at Steve, and he could tell his face was slowly looking defeated. He rubbed his neck at the sight.
"First time for everything, right?" He mumbled as Steve's face lit up as he stood to his feet, rushing over and hugging Tony tightly. "Hey! Hey, big guy!" Tony chuckled. Steve moved back and gave Tony a short yet sweet peck on the lips with an award winning smile.
"Our first Christmas." Steve hummed, running his hand through the brunettes hair. Tony's lips formed into a small smirk as he repeated his words in a small hum.
"Our first Christmas."
