I walk with Jane as we get fairy godmother's signature for early release for Ben's coronation. Walking through the vk's class Jane squeaks as she hurries to her mom's side and I roll my eyes. As I wait by the door the kids turn and look at me and I raise a brow.

"Come on Abby. Lets go." Jane says in a hurry as she passes me and I catch Jay still staring at me.

"Abby do you need anything?" Fairy godmother asks and I look to her before shaking my head and turning to leave.

Walking away I hear the bell ring and groan silently. Great. People. I watch as people shy away from me but I keep my head up as I ignore them.

"Abby!" I look behind me and see Jay running towards me. "Where are you heading to?" He asks and shrug. "Wanna watch me attempt to play tourney?" He asks and I shrug before nodding. He grins and together we walk towards the pitch after he stops to get changed at the locker room.

As he and the others practice I sit on the bleachers and watch as he literally barrels through the princes and I laugh silently.

~Jay~

I take a minute to look to the bleachers and watch as Abby laughs as I knock another prince out of my way and I smile. Why does the sight of her smile make me feel warm inside?

When practice ends I walk towards her to see her already walking towards me with a small smile.

"Hey what's that hand thing that you do?" I ask and she starts moving her hands in weird ways. I look at her confused and she silently laughs. She motions for me to follow her and she leads me to the library. She combs through the books before finding one in the archives of the recent princes and princesses. After combing through the pages she hands me the book and I start reading.

Abigail Beast.

Daughter of Queen Bell and King Beast. Sister of Benjamin.

At age twelve was kidnapped by Ursula and captain Hook where she was beaten and placed under a curse, similar to her father's, to be unable to speak unless she can find love in another, that isn't family, and earn their love in return only then can she regain her voice back.

"So you were cursed?" I question and she nods. "And you haven't been able to break it?" She shakes her head no. "Why not?" She looks disgusted and I laugh silently. "What? Princes aren't your type?" She nods with a wrinkled nose that looks cute. Even with all her piercings. Her lip, nose, and ears were pierced in multiple places and honestly they suit her.

"Wanna get out of here?" She mouths and I grin.

"What do you have in mind?" She grins and gently grabs my index finger before leading me from the library and towards a black motorcycle that matches her clothes. All the girls here wear dresses except her. She wears black skiny jeans and black tank tops with a leather jacket.

She passes me a helmet and climbs on the bike before motioning me to get on behind her. I climb on the bike and wrap my arms around her waist and she stiffens before slowly relaxing and driving off.

We travel for awhile when she stops in a parking lot surrounded by woods. Parking she has me climb off before climbing off herself and dropping her jacket and helmet off with the bike and heads towards a trail. Following her she leads me through trails and onto a rope bridge as she smiles over her shoulder at me and I can't help but grin back. She leads me along until we get to a lake and she holds her hands up like she's saying surprise.

"What is this place?" I ask as we go to a platform surrounded by pillers and she sits at the edge of the water with her legs crossed and I sit with her. She hands me a piece of paper and as I look at it I see that it's her hand gestures and what they mean.

"E-N-C-H-A-N-T-E-D. L-A-K-E." She spells out and I nod.

"Do you come here often?" I question and she nods. "So why did you get cursed?" She sighs and starts spelling again.

"T-O. G-E-T. B-A-C-K. A-T. M-Y. P-A-R-E-N-T-S. F-O-R. T-R-A-P-P-I-N-G. T-H-E-M. A-N-D. T-H-E. O-T-H-E-R. V-I-L-L-A-I-N-S. O-N. T-H-E. I-S-L-E." She spells and I nod.

"So they used you to get back at them." She nods.

"P-L-U-S. I. W-A-S. T-O. T-R-U-S-T-I-N-G. A-N-D. E-A-S-I-E-R. T-O. G-E-T. T-O. T-H-E-N. M-Y. B-R-O-T-H-E-R." I nod.

"They tricked you." I state and she nods. "Well I'm not going to trick you." She raises a brow before smiling softly and nudging my shoulder with her fist.

"T-H-A-N-K. Y-O-U." I grin.

"Anytime. So do I get to keep the translate thingy?" I question and she nods. "So have you ever gotten close to anyone?" She nods with a blank expression. "Really? Who?"

"C-H-A-D. H-E. O-N-L-Y. W-A-N-T-E-D. T-O. U-S-E. M-E. T-O. G-E-T. T-O. B-E-N. A-N-D. A-U-D-R-E-Y. H-E. H-A-S. A. C-R-U-S-H. O-N. H-E-R." She explains and I nod.

"That sucks." She nods.

After that we just sit and watch the fish swim by and for the first time in my life I didn't feel like hurting anyone.
