Skylar's POV

-Knock-knock-

"Thanks for coming guys" I smile at my 3 best friends; Ross, Cameron and Spring. "anytime, I would want to sleep on a bed of nails, then stay in the same house as male barbie" Spring playfully rolled her eyes. "no offense Ross, I know he is your brother but seriously if he doesn't stop bringing up Friday night. I am gonna turn his hair green" Spring warned. 

"Don't worry Spri, I won't stop you either way" Ross laughed at Spring. "Wait what hapened Friday night with Riker?" Cameron asked as he tried to come involve with the question. All 3 of us looked panickly at eachother- no one told Cameron! I looked at Spring and her eyes helled a begging of some sort, she mouthed 'don't tell him please' 

Before any of us could respond to Cameron's question, the door opened and I was expecting to see a tired, yet older version of me open the door, but expectations can be misleading.. I saw a middle aged man, looking at me strangeley. "Can I help you?" He asked as his eyes scanned us four. I heard the pitter patter of small footsteps running. I looked down to see a smaller version of 'him' with my mom's eyes and hair. "Skylar?" she asked shocked. 

"Hey Tinkerbell" I laughed as I picked her up into my arms and gave her cheeks slobbery kisses. "MOMMY" Madi screamed through the house as she jumped from my hold and ran down the hallway with her lime green, oversize Wellies on. "LOOK" she screamed, I heard my mom's footsteps run down the hallway. "skylar?" Nina (Skylar's Mom) whispered. "hi mom" I smiled as I could feel tears build in my eyes. She ran over to me and embraced me in a beary warm mamma hug. "I missed you so much darling" She cooed in my ear as she stroked my hair. "I missed you more momma" I gave her cheek the exact replica kiss of Madi.

Our hug was cut short off by a quick cough. "oh, yer." I smiled as I wiped my tears away, and took a few steps back. "Momma, these are my best friends Spring and Cameron- they are siblings" I gestured to the pair who had his hands in his pockets and twirling her hair. "It's nice to meet you both, I'm Nina. Skylar's mom" They both muttered 'hello's' and we diverted our gaze to the guy standing by the door. "and.." my mom trailed of whilst linking her arms with this gentelman "is my boyfrind, Tony" she smiled. WAIT! WHAT! "Momma, you have a boyfriend?" I asked as suprised as hell. "sky-" she tried to explain but I gave her another strong hug. "I am so happy for you mom" I could feel all her tense muscles relax and a calming sigh escapse her lips "thank you" she cooed in my ear.

a few hours later... 

"Are you sure your ok hunny, you ate a whole lot of food, at least enough for 4 people" Ross asked as her looked at my bloated belly. "Your stomach has gone out a bit, is it because your bloated?" Ross asks as her drags me to the sofa. "Most likely, I don't know I just really want to eat" I smiled up at him guiltly. "It's ok, as long as your eating- you were a bit small before" Ross massaged my earlobe with his coxed lips. I smiled and leaned into him more.

We had just had some delicious food made by my mom, god do I miss it when someone else cooks for you. I met Tony and he was super nice and caring, he has no children but divorce because his wife of 10 years was cheating on him for 6 of those years. I felt for him, more than half of his marriage was lies. He seemed so compasionate towards my mom, like he would offer to help her anyway he could and he even took her upstairs to run her bath- she was seriously under some depression and has been tackling it for 5 years since my 'father' left. Arsewhole. But I think Tony could maube mend that heartbrake.
