IT'S already around 9 PM yet Raven still hasn't returned with Slyther.

She wanted to look for them yet the weather wasn't so cooperative that it rained so hard. Her worry grew but she chose to trust Raven would not let anything bad happen to them so, she just stood by the window pane waiting for them to come home.

"Mommy, don't cry" Huffle wrapped her arms around her waist and tightly embraced her from behind, "Kuya Slyther would come in his senses, he was just... confused"

She faced her and caressed her face, "I'm okay, Puffie" she managed to smile at her yet Huffle's expression changed as she let out a deep sigh, "What's wrong, honey?"

Huffle looked into her eyes with fear, "My, is it true that you cheated on their Daddy?" she carefully asked.

She tucked the strands of her hair behind the ear and tilted her chin up, "He's your Daddy, too. You only have one father because I never ever cheated on him" she paused and bit her lower lip, "I cannot do that to you and your brothers..."

Huffle knew that Tristan wasn't her father and it doesn't matter at all because she never meets him before, "He's not my father. It's Papa Tristan" Huffle said.

"Puffie..."

"He didn't remember me, Mom" She couldn't figure out if there's any emotion in her voice, "Why couldn't he remember me, does he hate me? Is it because of me that's why he left?"

She denied. That's not true.

Oh, how could she spare all of them with this? This is not their fault.

"Puffie, y-your Dad got into an accident which made him forget a lot of his memories" She tried to explain, "and you were part of that memories, Puffie"

She sighed and embraced her back, "It's just sad that you were too young to know and remember that he loves you" She could not say that but she didn't want any of them to hold a grudge to their own father.

She has already seen how it affected Raven and no words could make him forgive his father and she didn't want them to be the same.

She's not doing it for Dominic but for her children.

"Mommy, can I ask for a favor?"

"Sure, Puffie. What is it?"

"Please don't let him take us away, Mommy" Huffle begged, "Please, Mommy. Don't let him take any one of us..."

She was taken aback by what she said. Huffle didn't have to beg, because she won't. Not now. Not ever.

"I won't, Huffle. I promise."

"I love you, Mommy"

"I love you too, Puffie..." she replied.

Huffle fell asleep in her lap when Gryffin walked towards her. She was about to stand when she realized that Huffle is sleeping soundly on her lap.

"You should be resting!" she whispered.

"I'm fine, Mom" he assured him, "I can do this..." he said and sat on the armrest beside her, "You're still waiting for them?"

She nodded at him, "Don't worry, Mom. Everything will be okay"

"I'm sorry, Gryffin," she said, "I didn't want to keep it from you and Slyther---" she stopped when he held her hand.

"My, I understand" he tried to smile, "You don't have to apologize..."

"It's not just that, son. But, you didn't deserve this... not all of you"
