THE weather outside is the complete opposite of yesterday's weather; bleak and almost biting.

If he just believes in folklores or superstitious beliefs then he might consider that it is a sign of bad luck. Good thing that he wasn't.

He just turned on the television and waited for some news when his secretary knocked.

"ENGR.?" He signaled him to go inside, "I had the plane tickets, Sir, " He said as he handed him what he asked for.

This is it. This is step one of getting his life back on track.

He smiled and tapped his shoulder, "Thank you so much, I owe you one..." He said, "Is there any news about today's weather forecast?"

"It says that there will be a heavy rain today due to Southwest Monsoon"

"Will it cancel flights?"

He shook his head, "It might just delay but not canceled,"

He sighed, that will be better but if it won't be safe for his family then he has to think of another plan.

"Sir, I know it's not my place but, who are those people and why are you leaving?" His eyes full of confusion, "Are they our clients and is there a project there that I forgot to look at?"

He was taken aback with what he asked, "N-No, I just need to be there... Don't worry, everything's gonna be fine"

He nodded understandably, "I've also contacted the place you'll be staying in, everything is already set. They'll be waiting for you at the airport,"

"Thank you," He said and looked at the plane tickets that have been given.

MNL to CEB.

With the name that he got, he knew that they could start fresh in that place. They could make new memories and just move on.

This is the moment he has been waiting for.

"Hi..." He quickly hides what he's holding when Cynthia arrived in his office.

Technically, they're still working together because she's Engr. Olan Javier's daughter.

He figured out that this is the place they met. This is the place where it all started.

"Yes?" He asked, "How can I help you, Engr.?" He keeps his eyes away from her.

He's not mad at her, but looking at her just sends different emotions. She was a reminder of his past mistake and he can't put all the blame on her.

She was the proof of his infidelity and it sucks feeling sorry all over again.

She sighed and handed him something, "What is this?" He asked.

"An invitation," She answered, "Dad's a good friend of Ms. Allison Tanchangco - Vice President of Bergstrom Custom Brokerage. He wanted us to come tonight at Diamond Hotel,"

He stilled and looked at her, "You still didn't tell him?" About them, not living together anymore.

"About what?"

"C'mon, Cynthia... You know what I mean,"

She bit her lip and walked her way out, "What's the point of telling him? You know that she won't come back to you, right?"

You're wrong. He thought.

Because after tonight, they will be a family again and he can't wait for it to happen.

"I didn't force you to live with me, Dom, because I understand that you just don't remember now, but eventually you will... It was your choice to marry me, it wasn't mine... Because you love me..."
