-(Y/N) POV-
"So you mean to tell me Mr. (L/N)," Ozpin began as he took a sip from his mug before continuing. "That you and Ms. Drake failed to capture the target and ran into the League in which I specifically told you to avoid?"
"Ummm... In our defense they attacked us and we just defended ourselves, we lost the target because of this League of Assassin or whatever they call themselves. The only thing I'm glad is they are the only people to get my name right." I said though Dinah groaned at the last part.
"Seriously?"
"What? For as long as I've been doing this everyone been calling me the Hood so for someone even if they're a group of assassins to get my name right, I'm happy." I said with a grin but Ozpin coughed to gain our attention. "Sorry Professor."
"While I am disappointed at this failure, I'm now intrigued yet concerned for you two." He said.
"What do you mean?" Dinah asked as Ozpin took a sip.
"Normally the League of Assassins simply kill their target and don't leave any witnesses, but for them to capture the target I'm wondering what they're after, and for them to spare you two has me concerned as I said they leave no witnesses."
"So you assume they have something planned if they spared our lives?" I asked as the headmaster nodded.
"That's what I fear, I'll have to add more cameras around campus for more security and don't worry, I promise that your loved ones are safe in case they decide to target them." He said as I growled at the thought.
"Then why not track them down before they become a problem?" I suggested.
"You kidding me (Y/N)? We couldn't handle a few of them, what makes you think we can take on a whole organization that potentially has hundreds of assassins?" Dinah asked me as Ozpin went to take a sip from his mug.
"I mean... if we have a good team we can take them one seeing how I was able to kill one or two of them, and I know I told you Ozpin I wasn't going to kill anyone but they jumped me and left me no choice." I said which caused Ozpin to spit out his coffee all over his desk and coughed.
"I-I beg your pardon? What did you say?!"
"Ummm, I think I killed a member of the League?" I answered uncertain as Ozpin simply rested his head on his hand and let out a frustrated sigh and looked up at me sternly.
"Fighting then was one thing I didn't want you to do but not only did you did you said you killed one of the assassins... I'm impressed." He said and slightly chuckled at the end as me and Dinah looked at each other.
"Aren't you mad? You said you wanted us to avoid them yet your fine if I killed one of them? Which you also told me to not kill again and right now you seem cool with it, I'm so confused." I said confusingly with Ozpin telling me not to kill but I killed an assassin and he seems fine with it.
"Normally I would but the League has and will always be a threat to all of Remnant and if you were able to take down members of the league who spend years training shows how skill you are, more so than I thought." He said as I have Dinah a proud grin who groaned and playfully punched my shoulder. "However, now that you killed some of their own I'm sure you'll be on their radar and on the lookout for you so I would recommend putting your little vigilante work on hold. Especially if they're in vale and seem to be after the White Fang."
"Shouldn't we go after the White Fang before they do?" I asked.
"Yes but now that they know you two are after them as well they'll be on the lookout for you so lay low, and there's no telling what the White Fang are up to but I'll monitor around for any activity on both organizations." Ozpin explained.
