Get their order-my BFF and coworker Carson ordered. The smoothie shop where we worked usually got busy during rush hour and today was no exception. Normally, kids our age were worrying about college and partying but not Carson and me. Carson was having a gap year whilst I was saving up for college. Not wanting to lose our close bond, we both applied to the same jobs in the hopes, to add BFF coworkers to our status. It was basically like high school all over again, spending countless hours joking with each other instead of working.

I gotta pee-Carson joked, taking off his work apron

I'll take care of the cashier-I said already stepping in

I know, I know-I chuckled, rolling my eyes. Growing up we had been inseparable and I'm so glad we kept it that way

The line went by pretty quickly, the juice orders pretty standard. After attending the usual yoga moms, I noticed a guy with light brown floofy hair was up next.

Dang,he's cute. Carson was always teasing me for pointing out the hot customers we got on the daily but he felt different.

I added quickly, which was a stupid lie because this isn't Starbucks, our orders have and never will be by name. But for some reason, I wanted to know more about him, he seemed so kind and genuine I just couldn't resist getting closer to him.I had to.
