Blind Dancer

In her elegance she swings
A leg unto the air she leaps
Landing tip toed upon the stars
Dress reluctant to flow
With no wind in sight
I watch as invisible tears drop
A fear wrought dance
She would not glance
In my direction
Once upon a time
The thoughts within her mind
Tore her apart
Routinely like her choreography
Exhausted pirouettes
When will it go away
The fear she bears inside
For herself
The elegant dancer
Painting the ground
With her prancing feet
Landing hard
Oh how she bleeds
Without a stable ground
Though it can't be to blame
For being solid
She lacked the confidence to polish
Her routine
Something that she hasnt seen
Can be made into reality
From dreams
