The color drained from your face when you saw a familiar mustang in the apartment complex parking lot. Cracker must have been worried about you and came home early.

<He's home.>

"Oh shit (Y/n), you left the test on the bathroom sink!"

Oh shit indeed.

<I'm going to go talk to him.>

"You do that." Nami nodded hurriedly and gave your arm a reassuring squeeze. "I'll leave you to it, we can hang out again another time."

<Yeah. Thanks for your help today.>

"Any time girlie."

You got out of the car and headed inside, dreading what Cracker would say when you saw him. When you got to your apartment door it opened as your other half bumped into you.

"(Y/n), I was just about to text you. Did you go to the store? Are you feeling any better?" His voice was dripping with concern. Most importantly, he hadn't seen the test yet. He wouldn't have been so casual otherwise.

*Can we go in? I need to show you something.*

"Show me something?" He said questioningly. He followed you back in the apartment and let you push him down into the couch. "You don't look too good, can't this wait? I think you need to rest."

You shook your head. *This will only take a second.*

You scampered to the bathroom. The test was right were you left it on the edge of the counter. It would've been harder to explain if he'd found it himself and you weren't home. You held it tightly as you wandered back over to him.

"What's that?" He tried to look around your hands to get a better view of it.

He accepted it as you stood in front of him, waiting for a reaction. It was one of those times when you hoped for the best but prepared yourself for the worst. It was painfully quiet as he read it, squinting at the word before his eyes widened in understanding.

*Turns out I'm not exactly sick.*

"You're- we're pregnant?"

You nodded, sucking in air and watching him carefully.

"That's amazing!" He broke into a fit of giggles and jumped to his feet, pulling you into a tight embrace. "I mean, unexpected, but that's great!"

It's sad that Law knew how he'd react better than you did. But you were relieved. There were so many different scenarios running though your head before, none of them good. You felt tears start to well up as your anxieties vanished.

"Hey, it's going to be fine. What's with the crying?" Cracker backed up a little so he could wipe away a few stray tears.

*I was afraid you might not want to stay when you knew.*

"Holy hell (Y/n) no, of course I'm staying!" He bent down and kissed you passionately. "We're going to be parents~"

You cracked a smile and laughed silently at him. His good mood was becoming contagious.

"I'm calling off work tomorrow and you should too. We gotta talk to momma, it's way overdue for that." Another giggle bubbled out from Cracker. "And we should look into moving somewhere else. A one bedroom apartment isn't going to cut it."

Your eyes lit up. *We could check out houses. Just think about not having all these neighbors.*

"Now you're getting the right idea!" He whipped out his phone excitedly and sent a message before returning back to you. "Momma knows we're free tomorrow now. What do you say we eat something and head to bed? It's late and we'll have a lot to start planning tomorrow."
