we got to the party about 15 minutes late because i couldn't find shoes that i liked. but anyways we were here and as i opened the door the smell of sweat and weed (it's legal in canada) caught me by surprise. we walk in the house and marwa and tasnim start looking for samy and anthony. i just followed the two because i knew mariano would be there.
so marwa and tasnim get to the guys but mariano is no where to be found.
"samy. do you know where mariano is?" he scratches the back of his neck looks at anthony awkwardly and then slowly shook his head no. i knew he was lying but i let it slide. that's until i saw two people damn near eating each other's faces. i look closer that's the girl mattia cheated on me wit- is that mariano?
"marwa look beside the door. is that mariano?"
she looks, rubs my shoulder and slowly nods. i know we're just friends but that kind of hurted me though.
i go up to him.
"really mariano?" he looks shocked and puts his head down.
"awe are you gonna cry because i took mattia AND mariano from you?" the battri ting said. (a girl who gives herself to anyone who asks)
mariano looks at her shocked i just looked at her and walked away.
"amala wait!"
"no mariano. you were there when the whole thing happened in fact! you were the first one to react. so please don't text me anymore. i can't right now." i start walking back to the table as i was walking i felt someone take me by my hand and pull me from the crowd. he brings me into a room and he licks his lips at me. i start yelling. he tries to cover my mouth but i'm still yelling. out of no where mattia comes in the room. he sees what's happening, i'm still yelling, and punches the guy and takes him off me.
"i swear josh if i see you do this to another girl it's endgame. as a matter of fact leave the party. right now." he then turns to me.
"are you okay?" he pulls me into a hug. i don't even hug back. i feel too disgusting to.
"let me bring you home." he offered. i nodded. we left the room and i went to go get my stuff from the table where everyone was sitting in the addition of mariano and battri ting. tasnim and marwa ask what's wrong and i tell them i'll text them when i get home.
i get in mattia's car. and he starts driving.
"can i have your number. just to make sure you're okay!"
"don't you have it in your phone?"
"no you made me delete it remember."
"oh." i start giving him my number. no more than 5 minutes later i got home. i thanked him and walked into the house. all i saw was mariceli and josh (her cousin) asleep cuddling on the couch. i smiled. they are so cute. (remember i made josh 16. it's not a case)

i dropped her off and as i was driving away i called josh.
"yeo josh sorry for that punch but she definitely believed it. i think this is really gonna work. but anyways i'm coming to give you the money right now" i hung up. this is definitely going to work.
