Frank Zane has won his first Mr Olympia in 1977.Frank Zane was truly one of the best when it came to an aesthetic physique,weighing only 185 pounds or 84kg on stage.
He had an extremely thin waist and was one of the only few to win a Mr Olympia under 200 pounds.He showed that you didn't have to be huge to win.He has written many books such as "The Zane Way To A Beautiful Body","Frank Zane:Mind, Body, Spirit and more.He earned his nickname "The Chemist" becuase of his science degree and his use of amino acids which wasn't highly used back then.People also said that he was like a walking statue because his posing was highly practiced and accurate.Frank Zane also liked Steve Reeves who was a former Mr Universe winner and also had an aesthetic body.Frank Zane like I myself don't really like modern bodybuilding because there's just too much mass which ruins the look of a proportionate and symmetrical body.Zane won an overall total of three Mr Olympia title's.
