Chapter 5

CHUUS POV
"Is there a chance you still like me?", I hear someone say I look up and see Heejin standing in the doorway with her bag. "We'll leave you two alone" Kimlip said grabbing Choerry and Jinsoul. She sets her bag down and sits where kimlip was before. "Why didn't you tell me you liked me before, I've liked you since the moment we met", she said looking at me sadly. "You liked Hyunjin then too, and I like Yves. We both like each other and separate people. It wouldn't have worked out." , I said truthfully. "We could have tried, we can still try", she said grabbing my hands. I looked at her and saw her glossy eyes. "I dont want to hurt you", I said not wanting to make eye contact. She lifts up my chin I look and see a few tears falling. "If we cant be together the way I imagined can I at least kiss you?",she asked. I nod and close my eyes, our lips connect. Her lips taste salty because of the tears her hands pull me closer to her, of course I felt something, but all I could do is wish it was Yves. She slowly pulls away with her eyes still closed, "I uh have to go", she said grabbing her bag and running out of the house. I go up stairs and lock myself in my room, why did I say yes to the kiss? I thought. I led her on, why am I so stupid. I'm so selfish.

YVES POV
I woke up not feeling the best, I got up and dressed myself for school. "Yves you dont look too good", Olivia said "I'm just going to take some medicine, I'll be fine.", I said grabbing some dayquil. We leave a little early so I can get the girls coffee and tea for Chuu and I. We arrive at school and I see Chuu sitting at our desk. "Hey chuu I brought you some tea for your throat", I said setting it down in front of her "Oh, thank you.", she said kinds out of it. "No problem", I said awkwardly. I sit down and lay my head down on my desk, I feel a hand on my forehead "Yves you're burning up", Olivia said concerned. "I'm fine", I said a little annoyed. "Did I get you sick?", Chuu asked. I shake my head and take a sip of tea. Chuu isn't her normal self today, rather than being cheerful and cute she seems cold. I ignore it and push through until lunch. "Are we gonna sit with Kimlip today", I shake my head and head over to an empty bench. We sit down and the girls start to eat but I just lay my head down. "Let's go",I hear someone say while picking me up. "Olivia can you take the car keys out of her bag, kimlip said she'll take you home", I just wrapped my arms around their neck to stay up. We walk out if the school and I feel myself being put down. I look up and see Chuu. "What are you doing, I'm fine", I say trying to walk over to the drivers side, but i was too weak to do so. She opens the car door, and I get in. She gets in the driver's side and starts the car. "Why did you kiss Heejin?", I asked I feel tears falling down my face.

*passing to third period*

"Did you and chuu really kiss?", I heard someone say, I peek through the mirror I had in my locker and see Heejin and Jinsoul talking. "Yeah we did", Heejin said happy at first but sad after. I felt sick to my stomach I slam my locker door and speed walk to the bathroom. I ended up skipping 3rd and just sitting at the back of the school "why would Chuu kiss her?" I thought. I sat there not realizing I was crying.

*back to the car*

"Who told you that?", she asked nervously. "I heard her and Jinsoul talking about it", I said wiping my tears. "I'm not going to lie I did kiss her but because I would never kiss her again because she isn't the one I fell in love with, she isn't the person I day dream about. I did it because she asked me too, because she knew she could never be...well you", she said not looking at me.
I turn and face her I use my finger to guide her to face me, my hand pulls her closer to me. We connect our lips, I felt my heart beat faster we slowly pull away both of us smile and decide to leave. I closed my eyes and smiled I just kissed Chuu. We arrive at her house, although I was feeling better after the talk and kiss, she carried me to the house. She puts me down and I plop down on the couch. She locks the door and does the same.
