Chapter 14

YVES POV
I stayed behind at the cafe with Wendy since I didn't feel like going home. I'm sitting in the corner of the cafe not knowing what to do, I sit up at the sound of the door opening "Sorry we are closed!", I said looking over at who it could be. "I know, I came to pick up Wendy. Who are you?", the brunette said walking over to where I am. "I'm Yves I work here and you are?", I asked lifting an eyebrow. "I'm Irene Wendy's wife", she said smiling. "So you are the famous Irene I've heard Wendy talk about", I said smiling back. "I'd suppose, and you are the girl Wendy was so happy to hire again", she said sitting across from me. "I guess so", I smiled again. "That's a beautiful locket", she said pointing to the one around my neck. I felt my expression change "what's wrong?", she asked sincerely. "My girlfriend and I are having issues right now and I forgot I had this on and it has a picture of us both in it.", I said looking down. "Can I see the picture?", she asked. I nod and take it off to hand it to her, she takes the Lockett and opens it "You two are cute together, what happened if you don't mind me asking?", she said looking back up at me. "Well there's this other girl who has feelings for my girlfriend and I found out she kissed her, and it broke my heart. I said I was done and I walked away without her being able to explain it. When my roommates got home they explained everything to me and I felt bad for hurting her. So right now she is with our friend Siyeon until she feels like she can come home."I said looking down. "You miss her?" She asked leaning back in her chair. "It's only been 1 night but I miss her like crazy, I feel like part of me is missing. This girl has helped me through everything, she is so caring and selfless.I just want her back in my arms again." I said as tears filled my eyes. "Well it's about to be 3 am but who knows maybe she is up. If you feel like you need her, you have to go get her. Talk it out with her, be there for her just as much as she has been there for you.", I sit and think for a moment; I get up and grab my things quickly "Tell Wendy I said goodnight, I'll see you later", I said walking towards the exit. "Wait, you forgot this", I turn and see Irene holding the locket up. "Thank you, for everything", I said grabbing the necklace, she winks and then I run out the door. I get in the car and I drive over to siyeons house. I get out and walk to the front door I take a deep breath before knocking. After a moment or two the door opens "Yves?", she asked confused. "Do you mind if I come in so we could maybe talk?"I asked while standing there awkwardly. She nods and opens the door wider so I could come in, I walk in and she locks the door behind me. She grabs two glasses of water and nods her head towards an empty room, she sets the water on the night stand and I close the door behind me I flip the switch and the light turns on. I sit on the bed across from Chuu "what are you doing here?",she asked confused. "To talk, I wanted to say that I've been the shittiest girlfriend and friend to you. After Kimlip told me what happened to you I just wanted to grab you and hug you and tell you everything would be okay and apologize for what I said. I love you so much and the truth is, I don't deserve you. You are the purest and kindest human being  and I hurt you I hurt the girl I love so very much.". I said breaking down in tears. "Listen to me, it's not your fault in anyway. I left not because you hurt me but because I needed to think, to think of my feelings for you and for Heejin. But now and more than ever my feelings are 100% clear. I love you and only you I've never loved anyone more than I love you. Within the past week of all of this happening I've done everything based on how I thought you would feel and believe me when I say I never meant to hurt you. You are the only person I love and the only person who I need",she said wiping my tears. I move back "what do you mean by now your feelings are 100% clear? We're they not before?" I asked as more tears came out. "That's not what I meant Yves", she said moving  towards me. I get up off the bed and face her. "This was a mistake, I shouldn't have come here", I said grabbing my bag. "No Yves please that's not what I meant", she said grabbing my hand. "I know what you meant, we're done", I said throwing my locket on the bed before I ran out of the house bawling my eyes out. "YVES PLEASE", I hear her scream. I look back and I see her at the front door, I take one more look before getting into my car to drive off. I drove until I ended up at home, I walk in and close the door behind me "Yves where have you been? We've been worried sick", Kimlip asked as she quickly got up from the couch. I look up at her and fall to my knees sobbing, she quickly rushes to my side and hugs me "I broke up with her", I said crying harder. "Everything will be okay, you're okay", she said rubbing my back.
