Jace's POV It's been a couple months since I joined, and we were preparing for Christmas. Everyone was excited the party was about to begin before we all either went home for Christmas or stayed here. I was making EggNog with Lera laughing and having a good time, I smiled as I saw Alex walking in dressed like Santa holding a sack of presents. He looked up and spotted Lera and I and in his thick Russian accent yelled "Ho Ho Ho merry Chrysler" I stared at him before sighing "God damnit, we have got to get him off YouTube" Lera laughed "I thought it was pretty funny" I stared at her "you're crazy" before I heard my name I turned and saw Monika "Oh hey Mon, what's up?" She smiled "I've got your gift" I nodded and walked to her she handed it to me and I opened it. I looked up "a new watch, thanks mon, I've needed one for a while now" she nodded "I know that's why you're always late to game nights" I sighed "don't remind me, follow me I've got something for you" I walked over to my seat and pulled out a box and gave it to her she looked at me "what's this?" I shook my head "it's your gift open it to find out what it is" she sighed and set about ripping it open before looking up "a helmet?" I nodded with a smile "the newest version the US Military is creating, it offers immense protection" she gave me a hug "thank you, really" I nodded as I called Marius and Dominic over "Hey boys, come here I've got toys" they came flying over as I handed them each a gift they ripped it open and looked at me "saran wrap? Duct tape? Cherry bombs? Why give us all these?" I smiled evilly "because pranksters need prank supplies" Monika sighed "Look what you've done they're never going to stop" I smiled "I know, they shouldn't it keeps everyone's spirits high" I yelled for Elias "Big Brother, come here" he came running over "Ja?" I smiled "so you want your gift or not?" He smiled "preferably yes" I handed it to him "I couldn't think of a way to wrap it so you'll have to deal with a box" he nodded a he tried to open the weirdly shaped box before getting it open and looked at me confused "Mein freund, I already have a shield" I smiled "yes but this one is lighter and stronger than your normal one" he lifted it "holy shit, it is way lighter" as he ran off to terrorize someone. Monika laughed "he has his moments of being a child" I nodded as I heard Alex behind me "where's my gift?" I replied "getting greedy are we? It's on the table by Lera" as we walked over and I picked it up handing it to him "two bottles of the strongest Vodka I could find" he laughed heartily "thank you родной брат(brother)" I smiled. Maxim and Timur came over I handed both of them their gifts Maxim opened his first "a new knife?" I nodded "I know you collect them so I got you one from the Green Berets" and then Timur opened his "bullets?" I shook my head "what kind of bullets?" He read again before looking at me "Armor piercing bullets" I smiled "No thick boi rook is going to survive you anymore" I turned to Shuhrat "Here catch" I tossed him one of his hockey pucks "see anything different?" He shook his head I replied "It has a sensor that determines if it's near an enemy or a friendly so you don't kill us anymore" he smiled sheepishly "Thank you comrade" as I turned to Lera "I couldn't think of what to get you so I put my reenlistment bonus into research for a cure to your illness" she smiled "thank you, really" I slumped "still wish I could've got you something" as Alex and over and they all gave me my presents. I opened Timur's first a shirt that said "Honorary Russian" I looked at him "Timur, Thank you. I love it." Shuhrat's was opened next a dog toy for Kilo "thank you shuhrat, it saves me some money" he smiled "I'm glad" then was Maxim's it was a new patch

"you can never have too much customization" while laughing. Turning to Alex he handed me a huge box I stared at him before opening it he said as I opened it "an antique Dp-28, I was thinking we could restore it" I smiled and nodded excitedly "of course" next and finally was Lera I carefully opened the small box "I got you this for your dog tags" I looked at it "Holy shit that's all my friends operator icons! How much did this cost?" She shook her head "not important" I insisted "yes it is this is expensive as shit" she nodded "don't worry about it" I heard Harry "I hope everyone's having a good night why don't we get some Karaoke going?" I nudged Monika "you can sing, go sing" she shook her head "no I'm really shy about it" I smiled "I'll go up with you and sing with you deal?" She sighed "fine" I looked at Harry "Me and Monika got this" he smiled as he exited the stage. I pulled out another mic. I looked at Monika "you ready?" She nodded unsure "I'm not so sure about this" I smiled "mon it's okay I'm right here" (This is the song)
About halfway through the song I stopped singing and took a step back listening as Monika nailed each note, every word hit perfectly as the rest of the operators swayed to the sound of her voice. When the song came to an end she turned to see me smiling and away from the mic clapping. She turned to the operators and gave a short bow before I walked off stage "sometimes you just need to be left alone to truly fly Mon" she sighed "you're still an ass" I nodded "Fair" this went on for the rest of the night until it was Me and Marius. "We should do I came to play" Marius smiled "we could do Bow down" I looked at him "so you know how to do the screams?" He shook his head "no" I nodded "exactly" he then proposed "Gladiator" I looked at him "Gladiator?" He nodded "Gladiator" I shrugged "Gladiator" as we moved to the stage we started it with Mariah Carey's All I want for Christmas is you and at the 30 second mark we switched to Gladiator by Zayde Wolf completely throwing everyone off as they were preparing to riot when we switched, gotta have one prank in there.
When we finished we all sat down for Christmas dinner. The Russians got everyone to play Never have I Ever it was pretty interesting to see how some of the stricter people were fucking crazy when they were teenagers. I was sitting outside looking at the stars when I turned to my right and I saw Lera. I walked over "what's a pretty girl like you doing outside all alone?" She smiled "I needed a break" I looked back at the stars "I thought you came with Alex, where's he?" She sighed "he's getting drunk" I laughed "that's Alex for you" she laughed too "I wish he was more down to earth" I nodded "just give him time" I walked inside to see Alex and he looked at me "I bet you can't down all 40" I stared at him "you dare challenge me?!" and when I finally passed out I was on 35 shots. I remember everything fading to black when I suddenly came to when I heard "Hey, you. You're finally awake"
