My phone began to ring with an incoming facetime, and I instantly answered after seeing who it was. "Hi babe"
"Wassup? What y'all doing?" He asked. Instead of telling him I flipped the camera so he could see the park.
He chuckled. "I see Skye listened to me."
I looked over at Skye who was picking the grass out of Lyrics hair. I couldn't help but to shake my head cause I told her not to play rough.
"Skye listened to you about what?" I asked before frowning.
"He told me to make you and Lyric to the park. So you need to walk around for your exercise. Yo cervix need to start loosening up cause it's hard for you to dilate when you go into labor." Skye said chiming in answering for him.
I looked back at the phone, to see Lu looking back at me. Well damn.
"Did you also tell her I have a tattoo on my ass?"
"Na I left that part out" He said before laughing.
"Girl it's okay...you just have a tight kitty" Skye said making me roll my eyes in embarrassment.
"Ugh it's hot!" I said while rubbing my huge belly. "I'm ready to go eat"
"Me too mommy, let's go." Lyric said wiping the sweat off her forehead.
"I gotta move around, so I'll check back in with y'all later aight?"
"Okay. I love you."
"Love you too. Kiss babygirl for me." He said before hanging up.
"Star and Donna just text that they're going to Olive garden for lunch. Wanna just meet them there?" Skye suggested. Internally I was rolling my eyes but on the outside I just casually nodded my head.
"Sure"

"Mmm" I moaned soon as the shrimp alfredo touched my tongue.
"Moaning like that is what got you pregnant again." Donna joked as she put salt and pepper on her food.
"Yeah yeah whatever" I said waving her off.
The table grew quiet as everyone enjoyed their food. Tense wasn't the word. It was obvious that Star had an attitude for whatever reason.
"You good boo?" Donna asked her.
"Oh..yea i'm fine just thinking and Lu and the guys. Wondering if they're good." She said making Skye and I quickly look at her.
"My husband. Is fine. I talked to him an hour ago." I said putting extra emphasis on 'my husband'.
"Yeah bitch they good. Cesar is good allum good. quit worrying about it" Skye said with a bit more attitude. Donna frowned.
"Why y'all ganging up on her? She's just worried." Donna said coming to Stars defense.
"Donna shut the fuck up okay? What you want me to 'gang up' on you next?" Skye said dropping her fork and stirring her drink with her straw.
"You really gassing it. It just seem like y'all both turning up on her for-" Donna started but got cut off by Skye once again.
"How would you like it if another bitch was worried about Alex well being?" Skye asked.
"..."
"I rest my case. Don't ever try to check me. And if either one of y'all got a problem with Cook. Let me know, i'm her hands while she's pregnant. Therefore I will beat one of y'all the fuck up. Period." Skye said before flagging down the waiter.
I was surprised. Does Skye know about Star and Lucious? I shrugged it off not wanting to think about it too much. I appreciate her though.
Lyric was too busy with her headphones in watching something on Netflix to pay us any attention. Thank god.
After getting Togo boxes, and paying for our tabs we headed home.
"Lucious told me." She blurted our as I came to a stoplight, making me look over at her.
"What that I have a tattoo on my ass?"
"No. About his affair with Star. I just feel like Why out of ALLL bitches you chose her?"
I sighed. "I don't know. But I can't go back and change the past. What's done is done. The best thing I can do is forgive and see if he lives up to his promises. We'll never heal if he doesn't." I said.
"I hear you boo. No matter what I got your back though. Star and Donna know better." She said making me giggle.
"Thank you."
"Always" Skye said before turning up the radio.
"THATS MY TYPE NIGGA THATS MY TYPE" She sang making me bust out laughing. The sooner Lu gets this done. The sooner we can get back to being normal.
