A knock on your door sounded throughout the room. "One second!" you called out, pulling on your most comfortable baggy shirt. You were in a cabin mansion with eight men, you wouldn't take the chance of any seeing your nipples.

The knocking only got louder, and you whipped the door open out of annoyance from the sound. "Oh, it's you," you smiled and said before quickly going back to your awkward self. "Can I help you with anything?"

You can help me with a lot of things, San thought to himself before swatting the thought away. He hated having thoughts like that about you so soon. He just wanted to get to know you, then make you his. It was the jealousy and possessiveness of his wolf causing this, and he knew it. But he couldn't help it.

Without another word, he stepped in and closed the door. He looked you in your eyes with a look that you couldn't define with anything more than a shudder. "San, what are you-"

You reached up to check his forehead's temperature, placing your other hand on his cheek. He grabbed your wrists and brought you against the wall nearest to you two. Your breath caught in your throat as you felt him release your wrists, slamming one hand on the wall and another reaching down to hold your waist. Fuck, you inwardly said, that's hot.

His eyes never left yours, and his lips twitched as he said, "Did anything happen between you and Yeosang?" His tone had no trace of curiosity or light-heartedness. You could finally hear it. It was anger, jealousy, or as your old counselor had once told you at a school assembly, lust. It wasn't exactly correct in the sense of how he used it, but it fit San's gaze and voice perfectly.

"N-no," you said in almost a whisper, not noticing how his hard stare made you feel so much smaller than you were. He leaned in further, his leg going between yours.

You could smell the cologne he usually wears, and even taste the chocolate snack he ate when you all arrived. "What was that? I couldn't hear you," he sternly said. You could feel the lump in your throat, and your stomach at his words.

"No, nothing happened between us," you said at a louder volume. You hadn't realized it, but you'd subconsciously been leaning closer and closer to San until he had to face downwards to see you clearly.

He gently pushed you back to the wall, going forward with you. You could feel the rise and fall of his chest against yours, and he could feel the racing of both of your hearts. "Perfect," he uttered, his lips ghosting over yours to the point where you craved his touch.

He suddenly stood straight, his cute smile returning. "Dinner's ready when you are!" He cheekily called and walked out of the room.

You stood there for another minute or so, a red hot mess. Had he really just done that? And had he really just made you feel that way? "Damn it, Choi San!" You exasperatedly said, flustered beyond belief at the thought of what had just happened.

He couldn't believe that after all of that, you were both still a mess.

Mingi slid a plate over to you with fried chicken and a small bowl of kimchi, and a smile. You had to wash your face with cold water before coming to eat. It also gave you some time to calm down.

There were only two seats left. One between Hongjoong and Yunho, and another between Yeosang and San. You quickly placed your bowl in the seat between your saviors, and got up to fill your glass with water. You returned to see the table staring at you, in some sort of shock that you hadn't chosen to sit next to the two boys you sparked with.

"Thank you for saving a seat for me, Hongjoong, Yunho," you smiled and nodded at them. Mingi took his seat next to the lover boys and started up a conversation.

He tried his best to not bring up the fact that your room had a vent that was directly connected to the room you currently sat in. He had to fight off any urge to tease that he'd heard everything while setting the table, because he knew that was a private and intimate moment between you and San that he shouldn't have heard. He took a long sip of his cold water to push down any urge to say it.

San went pale. "Mingi, you do know you're thinking aloud, right?" Mingi's water shot out of his nose the moment San said it.

You hit your face against the table in annoyance. "I'm sorry, but if you'll excuse me," you stood up and placed the napkin that was on your lap onto the table, "I have to jump out of that window now." You pointed to the window directly behind you, but instead making your way up the stairs.

You made your way to the vent that you could hear everyone else from. Before you could grab a towel to shove into it, you could hear everyone else starting their own conversation.

"Mingi, you should control yourself," Hongjoong scolded him. "You've probably embarrassed the poor girl," he continued. If you were honest, you kind of felt bad for Mingi. He was nice and funny, but he just had a few slip-up's here and there. Like when he brought up that he wanted beef when your vegan classmate was giving a presentation on why you should choose vegan.

You had the towel in your hand at that point, and you could hear San talking now. "Hey, it could be worse. We could've skipped out on dinner and you would've all known."

A sudden knock at your door made you jump. "Hey, stalker," Yeosang smiled and walked in. "I see you're invested in the dinner you excused yourself from."

You blushed. "I-I swear I was trying to plug the vent-"

"It's okay," he said and walked over to you, crouching next to where you were. "Here's a trick; this little lever thing here? Push it this way-" he pushed the knob to the left quickly "-and you've silently closed a little door Hongjoong added in. It keeps all the sound in and out."

You stood up next to Yeosang, his helpful smile shining. He gently held your hands as he looked into your eyes, holding eye contact a little longer than he'd anticipated. You gulped. Why were you nervous about how he'd felt about what Mingi said? You didn't know.

"By the way," he smiled as he walked out, "about what was said at the table. I hope you know I showed you that trick for a reason, and not just for San."
