Jui Jitsu is the best form of fighting if you want to take your attacker to the ground, although I think taking someone to the ground can be  dangerous for those who don't know how to fight while both of you are on the ground, if you have not trained in Brazilian Jui Jitsu which includes how to fight while on the ground such as putting the attacker into armlocks, leglocks and chokeholds, than you might be in trouble, you may be one of those people who might get the attacker to the ground  than run, which could end good or bad in situations.

Learning Brazilian Jui Jitsu may just save your butt, if you're ever in a position where the attacker is on top of you, knowing some moves will help. These techniques are called escapes, also Jui Jitsu focuse not on body weight it's about focusing on how to use a person's balance against them and even use their own bodyweight against them. ;) if that make sense, I don't mean like making them squish them self or anything like that, I mean using their weight to throw them off balance, it's all about being able to escape or counter attack.

Jui Jitsu is not just ground fighting it also includes immediate takedowns that are very officiant, they are useful to use when tired in a fight. Like most forms of fighting it also focuses on distance, safe zones and red zones. Red zones are distances that are not good and dangerous for you and safe zones are distances that are safe from where the attacker is, believe it or not but being in close to a person or in a clench is a safe zone, so it's important to learn your distance. Here is a video on how to get out of a mounted position.

As you saw in the video, the person who is mounted uses his feet, legs and arms to make the person on top, lose
their balance.
