Chapter 14 - I'm Here For You

Author's POV

Jimin took Yeri to the Principal's office as she continued to get away from his grasp. "Can't you stay still!?!" Jimin half yelled which made the girl scared a bit as she continued walking. "Don't worry about the Principal, Yeri, your father can't do anything and we aren't that dumb to believe your scary stuff, I think your father won't even support you when he hears all this stuff." Jimin said and Yeri knew it was true and couldn't do anything to change it. Soon they reached the Principal's office.

Jimin knocked and heard a 'come in' as Jimin and Yeri entered. "Do you have an appointment?" Mr. Kim asked and Jimin nodded and gave him the letter he got signed by the teacher and Mr. Kim gave him a smile. "Okay, what's the matter?" Mr. Kim asked and Jimin explained everything and Yeri's threats to them. Mr. Kim shook his head. "Yeri, nobody had expected this to happen in school, especially not from you, you have won many prizes to the school in competitions and you were considered a great student. You have broken the trust in me and everyone here for you!" Now Mr. Kim got a bit angry and Yeri was shedding tears.

Mr. Kim calmed himself down. "Yeri, first of all, you have hurt many people's feelings, what if someday the same happens to you, you will feel completely broken and you won't be able to focus on anything." Mr. Kim remembered the incident with Jungkook and he wanted her to realise her wrongdoing, he shook off the thought. "Yeri, I hope I can see the better side of you the next time you come to school, for now, you are suspended from the college for 2 months, that is, till October and you have to get this record signed by your parents, you can't say anything because we have the CCTV footage." Mr. Kim said filling an indiscipline record sheet and it's carbon copy for the records of Yeri and giving it to her. He was proud of this because when the incident with Jungkook took place, they didn't have CCTVs which led to injustice but now, things were changed. Jimin thanked Mr. Kim and they walked out.

"Yeri, have you learnt your lesson or-" "I'm sorry Jimin, I know everything now, I hadn't expected Mr. Kim to be so gentle with me and it touched my heart, I won't do this, I promise, for sure." Yeri said and Jimin saw the sincerity in her eyes. "Okay, I'll expect to see a better you after 2 months." He said patting her shoulder as she giggled. "But you have hurt my best friends and Mingi, you owe them an apology." Jimin said as Yeri looked down in embarrassment. "Jimin, I need time and they too, I'll apologize to them for sure, after I come back." Jimin agreed and then they both left after saying goodbye to each other.

Meanwhile.....

Taehyung and Jungkook stood in the class as Taehyung rushed out and Jungkook's senses were fast enough to tell him to follow him. He ran behind him shouting his name but soon lost track of him. He started searching everywhere. He was tired by now, but he kept searching and soon found him sitting under a tree in the school garden. He had his knees folded up to his chest, his arms on his knees as his head lay in his arms, muffled voices of sobbing coming from there. Jungkook couldn't stand the sight, he had forgotten about his chance of getting Taehyung and all the stuff, he was just worried about him right now and wanted to comfort him. He slowly walked towards him and sat beside him. Taehyung jerked up due to the movement beside him and saw Jungkook sitting there, looking at him, he couldn't help but burst into tears and fall into Jungkook, side hugging him. Jungkook was taken aback for a moment before he started to stroke his back and his hair.

"Why did she play with my feelings like this! Why did she break my heart! Why??!!" Taehyung kept saying such things as Jungkook hugged him tightly and Taehyung couldn't help but cry more due to the comfort he felt.

"Taehyung, I know how you feel, but don't cry please..." Jungkook couldn't bear to see his pain and his eyes were getting glossy as Taehyung now fully hugged him. Jungkook kept stroking his hair and soon Taehyung's sobbing stopped. He rose up and wiped his eyes. "Sorry you had to see that." Taehyung said in embarrassment. "No Taehyung, it's okay, when I was also in the same state, you helped me, I can do this for you, at least, you are my best friend." Jungkook said as Taehyung smiled a bit. Jungkook didn't want to make Taehyung remember about Yeri so he started to think of ways to distract him. "Okay, let's grab lunch now, we have like, 10 minutes left." Jungkook said as they both went to the cafe and ordered sandwiches and milkshakes, banana for jungkook and chocolate for Taehyung. They quickly ate and soon the bell rang for the next class.

"We have different classes, so I'll catch you later Taehyung, bye!" Jungkook said as Taehyung replied with a short bye and a smile which Jungkook knew was fake.
