BETH: Aww
KELLY: What's up?
BETH: Nothing. Shaylynn misses everyone
KELLY: How long is this secret mission?
BETH: She didn't say. I hope they're not away too long
KELLY: Ne neither. I want to see a smile on that face!
BETH: I'm always happy! (smiling) Especially when you're around!
KELLY: Let's get out of here before we end up in bed!
BETH: Mmmm!
They both laughed. About an hour later they were sitting in Tao Chicago having dinner.
KELLY: This place looks great. It didn't take them long to renovate it.
BETH: Yeah it looks good.
Beth was busy reading a message from Josh
KELLY: No phones at the table on date night
BETH: Date night! That makes me feel so old. I'm meeting Josh tomorrow. Were going to take a look at the property on North Ridge Avenue
KELLY: What are you two up to?
BETH: Were looking for a building to showcase new talent in Chicago, like fashion designers and artists, stuff like that
KELLY: Sounds interesting
BETH: It is. You know there's a huge plot for sale at Monroe Harbour. It would be great for doing boat repairs! (smiling)
KELLY: Is there now?!
BETH: Just think. No more 24 hours shifts. You can be your own boss
KELLY: I'm already the boss of you!
Kelly laughed
BETH: You're not the boss of me!
KELLY: You know I am!
Beth smiled at him
BETH: Kelly aren't you sick of running into fires?
KELLY: You know I love what I do
BETH: I know that. But when you leave for shift I wonder if that's the last time I'll see you!
Beth looked upset so Kelly reached for Beth's hand across the table and gave it a squeeze
KELLY: I'm fine. Please don't start crying.
BETH: Well what if we buy it and you can work on boats on your days off?
KELLY: I want to spend my days off with the girls, Jaden and you. Unless you want rid of me?
BETH: I don't want rid of you. What would you call it? Severide's Boat Repairs!
KELLY: Beth! (smiling)
BETH: Tut!
KELLY: Do you want another drink?
BETH: Yes please
Kelly still had a hold of her hand
KELLY: Or shall we go somewhere else and bit quieter?
BETH: Let's go somewhere else
Twenty minutes later they were in the Grafton Irish Pub and Grill in Lincoln Avenue sitting in front of a huge fire.
