As Harry was thinking of his apology, his heart won't stop beating like crazy.
He's nervous—very nervous.
He look at Zayn who's been quiet for minutes now. Harry cleared his throat and face Zayn on his side "I'm sorry for everything Zayn" Harry said as Zayn's eyes opened and he looks at Harry "I.....I didn't want this to happened. I regret everything I did. It was entirely my fault that I lied, I just dragged Julia along with me" Harry inhaled and exhaled "I haven't really thought that we will end up like this. I wish I can turn back time and make things right—"
"Why did you lie?" Zayn barged in as Harry paused "Why didn't you tell me that you're a....guy?" Zayn asked as Harry's heartbeat sped up, he feels like fainting, seriously!
Harry gulped "to be honest, I was.....afraid that if you'll know that I'm a guy then you would stop talking me. And I know that you're looking for a girl—"
Harry hadn't finished his sentences when he heard Zayn chuckled "You assume things, huh?" Zayn said as Harry closed his mouth "I logged in to that site to meet new people, a guy or a girl, it doesn't matter. I was hoping I'll be able to find someone I can connect with and then I found you.....I connected to you easily and I slowly developed feelings for you which is weird since we only talk online and never seen each others faces" Zayn paused as he looked at Harry's eyes, they're so green, so beautiful
"But when I developed feelings, beautiful feelings, I told myself that it doesn't matter what you are because I fell inlove with your personality, your attitude and your inner being" Zayn added as he gave a small smile "You're beautiful and I like you, Harry" Harry's eyes widened as his chest tightened hearing that Zayn likes him!
"But I just can't accept the fact that you lied to me about who you are" Zayn said as the smile from his lips faded "I'm sorry Zayn, for lying" Harry said, almost a whisper
"I hope the things you said to me about yourself on chat are not a lie"
"No....of course not....they're all real....that's the real Harry" Harry responded "I like the real Harry, inside and out" Zayn said as he gave a small smile and Harry's breathing hitched seeing how genuine and sincere Zayn is. He suddenly felt thousand butterflies on his stomach.
"I need to go..." Zayn said as Harry's face frowned.
GO?! He thought their talk will change everything but looks like it didn't.
"I'll be coming back to New York tomorrow. It was nice meeting you" Zayn said as he rubbed his nape and his eyes not looking at Harry anymore "Yeah....nice...nice meeting you too...Zayn" Harry softly spoke and this time, Zayn took a glance at him.
He likes Harry but part of him can't bear the fact that Harry lied. Sure he already explained but Zayn needs to think things through "Ni, please open the door" Harry called and in seconds, the door clicked and the doorknob twisted as the door opened "Thank you for seeing me here at London. I really appreciated it" Harry said to Zayn as he sadly smiled "Bye Harry" Zayn said, his voice slightly cracking as Harry's heart got broken hearing his Good Bye
"Yeah....uh...bye....uhm...good luck on your uh....endeavor" Harry answered as he can feel tears coming from his eyes.
Zayn gave one last smile before pulling the door open and got out.
And after Zayn was gone out of the room, Harry's entire body sunk on the floor as he let his tears out.
Julia and Niall immediately went inside the room as they saw Harry on the floor, crying. Julia then sat beside him and hugged him "Harry, I'm sorry" Julia said as Niall sat at the other side of Harry as he put his hand his on Harry's back, running it up and down, comforting him.
Harry sat straight and look at his friends "Thank you for being here guys" Harry said as he sniffed and wiped his tears away "Harry, if Zayn really likes you, he'll.....he'll be back here to see you again" Julia said as Harry looked at Julia "Its okay....I mean, he has the reason not to and...doesn't matter. What matters is, I apologized and he accepted it" Harry said as he gave a smile at his friends
"I'll be alright..."
And hopefully he will be.
