Michelle "Mitchi" Elizabeth Kay is the daughter of a LAPD SWAT member, David "Deacon" Kay. Mitchi went to Oahu, Hawaii to live her life away from her family when she turned 18. Her dad didn't stop her because he wanted her to explore the world. That was his oldest little girl but he didn't want to hold her back.
While in Hawaii, she met a guy. They've been together for six years and she's never told her dad one thing about him. For her 24th birthday, she decided to go back to LA and spend the summer with her family. She took this guy with her so that he can meet her family.
Commander Steve McGarrett, is the guy Mitchi has been seeing. Not only is he a former Navy SEAL, he is also the leader of the Hawaii task force: Five-O. He took care of Mitchi and has been for the past six years. They're happy together. Especially when Mitchi passed the police academy and became an officer for Five-O. Steve wants to meet her family, and finally he might get that chance.
Her dad might like Steve. Maybe he won't. Who wouldn't want the best for their daughter?
