Thanks so much for reading. It still baffles me that people would want to read what goes on in my head, but there are plenty more where this one came from as I've been writing for a long time, so if you like my stuff, keep your eyes peeled for more.
As a treat for making it to the end, here's an excerpt from my first book "The Lonely Rabbit" aged five; bound and everything.

On a more serious note, I'm lucky to have had a lot of interesting people in my life and I always mine my friends', family's, boyfriends' and colleagues' lives - as well as my own life - for my writing. So this is a silent shout-out to all of them (who will never read my stuff) for being so brilliant, but also strong in the face of adversity.
I hope you enjoyed the songs (see next chapter for the full playlist). I am very easily influenced when it comes to music, hence a lot of my choices were inspired by what my parents used to listen to when I was growing up: 🎵 Pink Floyd 🎵 Elton John 🎵 Rod Stewart 🎵 Tina Turner 🎵 Dr Hook 🎵 Meatloaf 🎵 Queen 🎵 Billy Joel 🎵 Fleetwood Mac While others are associated with different people throughout my teenage and adult life.
I stretched the definition of rock music quite far in some cases, and you'll notice the odd anomaly. There is a song from the film Back to the Future, which is one of my all-time favourite films. There is also an advert for Dom Pérignon - not a song at all. But I work in marketing and advertising, so it was fun to put it in there - and it fitted nicely with the chapter. And Dizzee Rascal? What's he doing there? Definitely not rock.
So, there you have it. Another story done which was never meant to see the light of day. One day I will post my actual story.
Finally, if you didn't get a chance to read The Reason I Exist (my first Wattpad novel) I'm afraid you're too late! I took it down and replaced it with The Reason Jude Exists. I personally think Jude's version is infinitely better and perhaps my favourite of all the stories I've ever written - on- and offline. Feel free to check it out if you enjoyed this one.
