     Alex had called Juliette to go over to her house just to find out what the argument had been about, she had heard Nini and E.J. talking while the redhead had gone after Ricky and they had not said particularly good things about the curly-haired boy. Apparently, Carlos told Alex, Ricky had left the musical for good.

     "I'm sure he'll come around..." Juliette whispered, more to reassure herself than to Alex, "he was cast for a reason and I don't care what Nini says. He deserves to be there just as much as E.J."

     "I'm sure he is celebrating Ricky leaving the musical right now. He has just booked leading man with his girlfriend."

     I'm not planning on texting him. Yeah, sure, Juliette.

Juliette

Hey, how are you doing?

Ricky

I'm not returning to the
musical so don't even
try

Juliette

I'm not trying to, it's your
decision. Just checking on you

Just so you know, however,
rehearsal will be boring without
you goofing around

Ricky

I'm okay, Juliette, sorry for
snapping at you (again)

And I'm glad we're friends,
btw. I won't tell your
sisters, don't worry

But if you don't want me
over for dinner just say it

Juliette

Hey! It's not that, it is just
that I don't want my parents
pestering you with questions
bc they think we're together

Ricky

Would it be bad?

Juliette

The interrogatory? Believe
me, it would

But hey, if what you want
is to have dinner with me,
just say it

Well, you'll have to work
for it a bit more

     "Hey, you okay?" Alex asked, making Juliette block her phone and put it in her pocket, "you're smiling like an idiot. Oh, please no."

     "What? I was just checking on Ricky, apparently it's true that he has left the musical," she explained. "Oh no what?"

     "You were talking to Ricky the entire time?"

     "You say the entire time as if it had been a century."

     "I say the entire time because you have been smiling like you've seen an angel or something. Juliette, do you have a crush on Ricky?" she asked, changing her funny tone for a serious one.
