Louis came out of his room when Zayn shouted "dinner!"
The five boys sat down at the dining table and ate. Liam, Zayn, and Niall were chatting but Louis stayed quiet. He could feel Harry watching him from across the table but he refused to look up.

"So guys, tell us about yourself." Liam addressed the quiet boys and Louis finally looked up just to find all boys looking at him curiously. He couldn't help but blush.
"Ehm, nothing much to tell. What do you wanna know?" He mumbled and put another bite of the pasta Liam had cooked in his mouth.

"Start with the basics." Zayn smiled.

"Oh, okay. I'm from Doncaster. I'm the oldest of five. I have four younger sisters." Louis said and the boy's eyes grew wide.

"That's a lot of sisters mate!" Niall worded, sounding a little shocked.

"Yeah." Louis smiled happily. He really loved his sisters.

Harry drew in a heated breath and Louis looked at him. Harry was eyeing him in awe. Louis wrinkled his eyebrows.
"What?" He snapped.

Harry blushed.
"Nothing, I hadn't seen you smile until now, that's all." Harry mumbled.

"So?" Louis sassed.

"Never mind." Harry looked down at his plate instead.

What the fuck was his problem? Louis felt irritated and looked at the three other boys. They were all smirking. Louis rolled his eyes.

"How about you Harry?" Liam asked.

"Me? I'm from Holmes Chapel. I grew up with my mum and my older sister Gemma. They're great. Truly." Harry smiled.

Louis couldn't help but stare at him. Harry's dimple smile was breathtaking!

They continued to small talk throughout dinner and Louis answered the questions he got and he soon found himself relaxed in the boy's company. Maybe his housemates weren't that bad? He still kept his distance from Harry tho. That man was too good looking for his own good. He scared the living hell out of him. No one could be that perfect!

When everybody had finished their meals Harry stood up.
"Louis and I can clear the table."

Louis huffed in annoyance.
"Just because I'm an Omega doesn't mean I'm a fucking housewife!"

Harry stared at him, his eyebrow was furrowed from irritation.
"When the fuck did I imply that? It just felt like the right thing to do when the boys made dinner. I can clear the table myself. Go do what the fuck you want."

He took everyone's plates and headed to the sink. There was an awkward silence around the table.
"Ehrm, thanks, Harry. We'll be in the living room. Let's drink some beers and shoot some pool guys!" Liam suggested and got up.

Niall and Zayn hurried to get away as well but Louis stayed behind. He looked over at Harry and bit his lower lip. He needed to apologize. He got up with a sigh and collected all the glasses.

Harry was standing with his back against him, pouring the dishwater. He looked tense. Louis tip-toed his way over.
"I'm sorry Harry. That was uncalled for."

Harry sighed.
"I'm a nice guy. What's your problem with me? You don't know me." He turned his head to look at Louis.

"You're an Alpha." Louis replied honestly.

"So what? Liam is also an Alpha but you don't seem to hate him?" Harry was examining him closely like he would find the answer in his face. It was a bit intimidating, like Harry was searching his soul.

"It's not, I...Liam's not...I can't talk about this." Louis stuttered and blushed.

Harry kept staring at him intensely and Louis couldn't tear his eyes away. They stood there for a while, just gazing into each other's eyes in silence until Harry finally spoke up.
"Just give me a chance Lou. Get to know me. I think we could be great friends, you know? I feel a connection with you."

That was not the right thing to say. Louis panicked.
"Don't count on it. Stop trying to sweet talk me."

He turned around and ran out of the kitchen. Harry watched him leave and shook his head in confusion. What was Louis' problem?

Harry washed the dishes and put them away. He walked into the living room and found the boys in a heated pool competition. To his surprise, Louis was also there. Zayn handed him a beer, which he accepted right away. He joined the game and shot some pool. Louis joined as well after some persuasion and he defrosted after a couple of beers. Harry liked this Louis, the sassy and funny one.

They had a great evening. When they finally decided to call it the night Louis was drunk. It was not like any of them were sober but Louis was a light weighter. He came and threw his arm around Harry's waist and Harry was surprised. Louis grinned at him.
"Come on Alpha, help me get to bed. I have some trouble walking." Louis slurred.

Harry chuckled lightly but put his arm around Louis's shoulders to steady him. They said good night to the rest of the boys before Harry lead Louis to his bedroom.
"This doesn't mean you can climb into bed with me." Louis mumbled and then he started to giggle.

"I have no such intentions." Harry assured him.

"Right. You're cute but noooooo." Louis slurred.

"Cute?" Harry chuckled.

"Did I say that out loud? Ooops!" Louis giggled.

Harry just smiled. They had arrived at Louis's bedroom and Harry opened the door and stepped inside. He made sure to lead Louis to his bed before he put his arm down.
"You're here. Good night Louis."

Louis looked up at him and took a step closer and hugged him. Harry leaned down and hugged him back. Louis nuzzled his nose in the crook of Harry's neck.
"I lied earlier. You don't smell like shit. You smell lovely." He mumbled.

"Thanks." Harry answered a bit awkwardly and let go of him.

Louis let out another giggle before he climbed into his bed, still wearing all of his clothes. Harry gave him one last glance before he turned around and walked out of the room. Louis fell asleep right away.
